SCANNING THE CHARTS is just what it says it is.Β  I, the quirky founder and do-it-all at The Musical Hype scans through the Billboard Charts and picks out things that catch my eye.Β  To reiterate what I said last week (πŸ“‰ Morgan Wallen Continues Dominance: Scanning the Charts πŸ“‰ No. 8), this column won’t be extensive, but rather short and sweet, keeping that πŸ’© moving.Β  This week, I picked out SEVEN Β notable observations πŸ”Ž from the Billboard 200 πŸ“‰, Β and THREE observations πŸ”Ž from the Billboard Hot 100 πŸ“‰, with πŸŽ™ Morgan Wallen spending a seventh week atop the Billboard 200 with πŸ’Ώ Dangerous: The Double Album, while πŸŽ™ Olivia Rodrigo spends her seventh week atop the Billboard Hot 100 with β€œDrivers License”.

πŸ’ With the release of the deluxe version of his album, πŸ’ΏPegasus (πŸ’ΏPegasus: Neon Shark vs Pegasus Presented by Travis Barker), πŸŽ™ Trippie Redd reenters the Billboard 200 at no. 20.

πŸ’ πŸŽ™ CJ debuts modestly at no. 56 with πŸ’Ώ Loyalty Over Royalty.Β  Not sure that those numbers are equivalent to a – wait for it – 🎡 β€œBOP”!

πŸ’ πŸŽ™ Kali Uchis secures a top-100 debut with πŸ’Ώ Sin Miedo (Del Amor y Otros Demonios), which debuts at no. 77.

πŸ’ A couple of πŸŽ™ Daft Punk albums reenter the chart given the end of the legendary electronic duo.Β  Discovery reenters the mix at no. 121 while their Grammy-winning πŸ’Ώ Random Access Memories reenters at no. 146.

πŸ’ πŸŽ™ Carly Pearce does manage to debut on the Billboard 200.Β  That’s the good news.Β  The bad news? πŸ’Ώ 29 didn’t exactly light up the charts with its tepid no. 172 start.
