Are you ready to beam with P-R-I-D-E? Beaming with Pride highlights songs by LGBTQ musicians and allies, offering background, analysis, and discussion of the decadent bops served up. All genres are welcome, and both classics and new songs are recognized. So, without further ado, in the 60th  edition of Beaming with Pride (2026), we highlight “Alineación Antelada” performed by Trucha.

“Quise ser quien te acompañe, pero… Ya no doy más.”
Oh, my! Translated to English, Argentinian singer-songwriter Trucha (Ramiro Carrera) sings, “I wanted to be the one to walk by your side, but… I can’t go on anymore.” Now that’s a statement.  It appears in “Alineación Antelada”, the fifth track from his 2026 album, Illusiones de Amor. “Alineación Antelada” was written and produced by Trucha. By the way, the English translation of the song title varies from anticipated alignment, pre-alignment, advance alignment, preview lineup… The theme of the song is clearer, however.

According to Trucha, they were not on the same page. “Y yo sí quiero amor / Y vos solo compañía [And I actually want love / While you just want company].” Unrequited love 101, folks. He provides some context as to why things are as they are:

“Porque tu pobre corazón todavía tiene heridas

Y no pretendo que lo cambies ya

No quiero que me quieras

Cuando no podés amar, no me armes más las ideas.”

Translated into English, he sings:

“Because your poor heart still bears wounds

And I don’t expect you to change that right now

I don’t want you to love me

When you’re incapable of loving, stop messing with my head.”

Throughout, Trucha speaks on the state of their relationship and how they are in different places. But he holds to his guns.  He understands how to love, while his ex doesn’t, and he has to look out for himself and his own happiness.  Trucha sings beautifully and expressively over a calm, cool, and collected backdrop, led by rhythmic guitars… initially.  As the song progresses, the sound expands, with some vibrant synths. The vocal arrangement (harmonized and layered) ups the ante, making the record even sweeter.  Melodious and rhythmic, “Alineación Antelada” is hypnotic – a surefire vibe.
