~ Album Reviews 💿 ~

Album reviews tend to follow a track-by-track format, commencing with an intro paragraph comprised of background information, and concluding paragraph that wraps things up. Also, GEMS 💎 – the best, highly recommended tracks – are selected at the end of each review. It should not come as a surprise to see the analysis run > 1000 words.

Jeremih & Ty Dolla $ign, ‘The Light’ | Track Review

Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign start the summer off right with the groovy, if shallow sex record, “The Light.” It’s not deep, but it’s certainly lit.

‘Goin’ solo’ without a vocal collaborator on his latest release, Marshmello impresses on his brief, but jam-packed instrumental single, “Tell Me.”

Why Don’t We, ‘Hooked’ | Track Review

Boy band Why Don’t We are ‘innocently naughty’ on their innuendo-heavy new single, “Hooked.”  Despite her bad reputation, the boys are ‘hooked.’

Prince, ‘Mary Don’t You Weep’ | Track Review

A stunning piano-accompanied interpretation of the spiritual “Mary Don’t Weep” provides further support for the absolute genius of the late, great Prince.

Nicki Minaj, ‘Rich Sex’ | Track Review

Nicki Minaj, building towards her fourth studio album, enlists Lil Wayne for the absolutely filthy, yet hard-hitting banger, “Rich Sex.”
