Ed Sheeran spends his third nonconsecutive week at no. 1 with “Shape of You.” While that’s a huge story, a bigger one is the ascent of Lady Gaga, who reenters the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 4 with “Million Reasons.” In addition to Sheeran and Gaga, Big Sean, Sam Hunt, and Julia Michaels are among others making big moves on the Hot 100, dated February 25, 2017.

 

  1. Ed Sheeran retains the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Shape of You.” Meanwhile “Castle on the Hill” loses steam (no. 50 to no. 62).

 

 

  1. Lady Gaga re-enters the Hot 100 with “Million Reasons” at a new peak position, no. 4, following her stellar Super Bowl halftime performance. “Bad Romance” reenters at no. 50.

 

  1. Big Sean breaks through into the top 10 with “Bounce Back,” which ascends from no. 15 to no. 6. The next highest Big Sean track is his collaboration with Eminem, “No Favors,” which debuts at no. 22.

 

 

  1. Alessia Cara reaches a new peak with “Scars to Your Beautiful” (no. 10 to no. 8).

 

  1. Sam Hunt sees “Body Like a Back Road” ascend 17 spots from no. 38 to no. 21.

 

  1. Marian Hill continues to rise with “Down,” which is up six spots (no. 37 to no. 31).

 

  1. Bruno Mars is on the rise with “That’s What I Like” (no. 57 to no. 37).
