Starting things off, for those who may not be familiar with you, what would you say makes Fire the Humans distinct or unique? How do you rock the audience’s socks off?

🎤 Fire the Humans is a solo project I created in 2021 to release my own personal musical vision. What’s different about this project is the sound. It’s a culmination of pop music beds, raspy and soulful vocals, meaningful lyrics. More than rocking, my focus has been to write incredible songs that people can relate to. As an artist, I like painting pictures that people can find the beauty in.

Okay, let’s explore some juicy backstories. How did your Fire the Humans materialize and what were some of the goals or the visions you had early on?

🎤 Being from the United States, I’ve always played in bands but never released my own solo music. Fire the Humans came alive from the hiatus of the COVID pandemic. I had been helping write a new record for a band that I’m in, thePour, and came to the conclusion that I wanted to release my own stuff. Goals and visions truly are only to write incredible songs. Whether success or failure, that doesn’t concern me. I love the music and hope others find the gem inside as well.

Let’s talk more about goals.  Have your goals or your perspectives changed since first starting out? What do your aspirations or goals look like now?

🎤 My goal has never been money, fame, success, materialistic possessions. My goal is to fulfill my purpose in this short life. All we have is time, so, to make the best use of my time while I’m here. Sharing art with the world. Perhaps it allows someone to escape for a few minutes.

Everybody is influenced by somebody else. Who would you consider some of your biggest musical influences and how are they influential?

🎤 I’ve always been drawn the fish that swims upstream. I’m influenced by a musical artist that is unapologetic about being themselves. There is enough of everyone else in the world, we need “YOU”. Be yourself and don’t apologize for it. That’s inspiring and influences me. Prince nailed that and is considered a genius for it. Just being himself.

Ah, the fun stuff.  What’s your craziest tour story or the wackiest thing that’s happened during a performance?  Feel free to be creative.

🎤 Well, there are PG versions and X rated versions of that answer. One that I can speak on is, I fell on the ground during a show once. Just completely into the song and going crazy. The band I was in at the time was shooting a Miller Lite commercial. My guitarist unknowingly didn’t see me fall behind him, and when he stepped back, he stepped right on my face. Broke my sunglasses and the crowd pointed and gasped. I simply jumped up and we continued to level the show. Wasn’t until later that the pain set in.

Up until this point in your career, what would you describe as your favorite song you’ve recorded or performed live? What makes that song special?

🎤 I’m releasing a song called 🎵 “Can’t Stop” on 11/26/21 and I think it’s incredible. Soon after, in December, will be a “stripped” version of “Can’t Stop” released. I think it’s amazing. What makes it special is, the hook, melodies, production from .j, a multiple 🏆 Grammy Award winning producer, the lyrics and on and on. Everything about this song sums up the uncomfortable act of looking back at a failed relationship. Admitting they were wrong for letting them go and wanting them back.

Is there anything else awesome, cool, or left of center the world should know about you? Secret talents or surprising tidbits?

🎤 I’m painfully private. I love performing but have a harder time talking with people. It’s difficult for me. I try to say it in my music. That’s what Fire the Humans is all about.

Closing things out, what Fire the Humans currently working on, promoting that you can share with us or want us to know about? We love secrets, but there’s no pressure.

🎤 🎵 “Can’t Stop” is a single that drops on 11/26/21 and I think people will love it. The secret is that a “stripped” piano version of Can’t Stop will also be released in December. Follow along on YouTube, Instagram, and Spotify to check updates.

Thank you so much for sharing taking the time to answer these questions, and best of luck moving forward.
