Cole Swindell, You Should Be Here © Warner Music Nashville3. Cole Swindell, “Up”

[You Should Be Here, 2016]

Country singer Cole Swindell is in love – or “deep like.”  He speaks poetically of his girl on “Up,” who remains nameless:

“We’ll be up like the sun in the New Jersey sky / up like the wheels on a Bahama flight / Twisting that bottle, tipping that cup / girl, the way you rock me, you know that you got me up.”

Swindell seems to be enamored as opposed to lustful, but it’s difficult not to play into some potential innuendo lyrically.  Perhaps that’s just being dirty-minded, sigh.

 4. Fat Joe, Remy Ma & French Montana, “All the Way Up”

[2016]

Fat Joe & Remy Ma (actually guest InfaRed) say it best on the hook of “All the Way Up”:

“I’m all the way up / I’m all the way up / I’m all the way up / all the way up / nothing can stop me, I’m all the way up.”

What more is there to be said? These MCs are enjoying the high of being “all the way up.”  Self-explanatory flex-fest.
