Shoreline Mafia, WOOD WIRE BUFFS | Song Review

Shoreline Mafia, OhGeesy, and Fenix Flexin drop a surefire rap banger with “WOOD WIRE BUFFS,” from their EP, BIDNESS IS BOOMIN.

Woo! Shoreline Mafia, comprised of OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin, come in hot on “WOOD WIRE BUFFS”. “WOOD WIRE BUFFS” is the fourth track from their EP, BIDNESS IS BOOMIN (arriving May 1, 2026).  Written by OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin, “WOOD WIRE BUFFS” was produced by Sean Momberger and 1mtha1.

“WOOD WIRE BUFFS” slaps from the get-go.  Shoreline Mafia has a great backdrop to rap over, courtesy of Momberger and 1mtha1. The production has R&B vibes, with its looped, sensual, sung samples, anchored by an assertive, rhythmic beat.  OhGeesy gets it going on the first verse. He gives no fucks whatsoever with a compelling cadence and flow. “Put an arch in your back, go and shake that shit / I can tell the way you dance, you can take that dick,” he raps boldly.  That’s only the first couple of lines. He doesn’t hold back his lust nor his confidence and cockiness.  After talking plenty of shit, he performs the song’s centerpiece, the chorus, excerpted earlier. Fenix Flexin takes the reins in the second verse. Like OhGeesy, he keeps it unapologetic and drops a mean cadence flow in his own right. “Baby, fuck with me, let me know something,” he begins, adding the likes of, “Yeah, nigga, big stick, it’ll make a nigga kickflip,” and the clever, “If you’re tryna get a bag, girl, let’s keep it platonic / She like, ‘Boy, that don’t make no sense’ / Hmm, fuck sense, baby girl, I’m tryna make us some dollars.” D-d-damn! OhGeesy concludes with the chorus. All told, Shoreline Mafia kick ass and take names on “WOOD WIRE BUFFS”.  Entertaining rhymes, accompanied by a vibrant backdrop, seal the deal on this banger.
