In the 55^th edition of Spicy Tunez (2026), we explore the eyebrow-raising, naughty, sexed-up vibes behind “Yes Please” by Jordan Power.

Spicy Tunez is a column filled with naughty, sometimes controversial, and NSFW songs 👀.  Some songs merely dabble in innuendo and suggestiveness.  Others, however, go whole-hog and embrace a give-no-fucks aesthetic, thrive on sexual endeavors, utter shock value, and sometimes find themselves firmly embroiled in censorship… DUN, DUN, DUN! In the 55^th edition of Spicy Tunez (2026), we explore the controversial, eyebrow-raising, naughty, sexed-up vibes behind “Yes Please” by Jordan Power. 

Licking? A lollipop? Addicted? Is it that hot bod? Ooh-wee, it sounds sexual, Jordan Power 😈. And it is, indeed, sexual, on the LGBTQ+ independent pop artist’s single, “Yes Please”.  Also, can this guy really resist the handsome Mr. Power? He’s easy on the eyes, and honestly, on the ears as he sings about S-E-X… I mean, Power goes on to reference submission 👀 and being naked… on all fours 👀… He creates quite the titillating experience. “Yes Please” was written by Power and producer Rich Pilkington.

There is a lot about “Yes Please” that’ll make you say, YES, PLEASE! It begins with the colorful, electronic pop backdrop. This is sleekly produced, giving Jordan Power fuel for his sexual fire.  As for Power, he brings it with his respectable, sexy, cool energy vocals.  He never over-sings but packs a punch nonetheless with the sensual vibes. While the song is not that innocent (“Trickle on my bed as you scream”), it’s also not overly explicit either (“Watch the sweat rain / Damn, you’re looking like a / Looking like a star”). Another pro is how melodious the song is, whether it’s the verses or the choruses. The choruses (including the post-), unsurprisingly, are the crème de la crème.

While the song is overall straightforward, there are enough wrinkles to keep it fresh. Each verse is followed by what sounds like a pre-chorus.  The second pre-chorus is similar to the chorus, and fits right in.  Another wrinkle is the bridge section, which brings brief contrast, as Power asserts, “Move in me chemically / I get weak and so lonely.” Just naughty enough, and definitely gay, “Yes Please” could be described as ‘the bee’s knees!’
