Cardi B, AH HA | Song Review

The ever-fierce and unapologetic Cardi B brings attitude, energy, and fire to the hard-nosed, zero-fucks-giving banger “AH HA.”

D-d-damn! And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the attitude that Cardi B brings to “AH HA”. The Grammy-winning rapper is fierce as F-U-C-K on her first single of 2026. She certainly doesn’t lie in the intro when she asserts, “I’m on my shit, look.” “AH HA” was written by Cardi B, Pardison Fontaine, Sean Island, and producer DJ SwanQo.

“AH HA” is turnt up from the get-go. The hard-hitting beat provides a mighty anchor. Beyond the beat, the production is colorful, and believe it or not, pretty sophisticated. Who isn’t sophisticated is Cardi B, intentionally! She serves up an aggressive, assertive flow.  She’s locked in, and guess how many fucks she gives? ZERO! “Bitches really hate me (So?), so be it (So be it) / Bathroom floors and these hoes both heated,” she spits, unbothered in the first verse.  She brags in the second, “Cute in the face, heavy on the backside / Pussy on get a nigga baptized / I was sparin’ bitches, for real, y’all was lucky / But this year, I’m pullin’ up and shittin’ like a Huggie, huh?” Not the shitty diaper reference! The unpitched moments go the hardest, but, I like the melodic moments as well. These occur during the crème de la crème, the chorus. Those pitched moments flow nicely against that banging production.

On “AH HA”, Cardi B brings fire and ample personality.  No, it’s not eloquent or the least bit refined, but it’s an energetic, unapologetic banger, PERIODT.
