[otw_shortcode_dropcap label=”A” size=”large” border_color_class=”otw-no-border-color” shadow=”shadow” square=”square”]h, bring on Midnight Heat 🕛 🔥! Wait – it is not usually hot at midnight! Well, it is steaming hot 🥵 at midnight when it comes to this naughty, innuendo and sex-laden column featuring songs intended for nighttime. Yeah, we are talking about that after dark, bedroom boom $hi†, ya dig? These unapologetic records often raises both eyebrows and temperature alike. Woo! In the 76^th edition of Midnight Heat (2023), we explore the naughty, sexy vibes behind, 🎵 “i fuck with myself” by 🎙 Alx Luke.[/otw_shortcode_dropcap]

“I fuck with myself, I’m driving me crazy.” Wow, 🎙 Alx Luke (Aleksandr Lukanov), that’s being ultra-transparent – and potty-mouthed! The buff 💪, handsome 😍 (see his IG) singer/songwriter and cirque aerialist doesn’t hold back on the explicit pop joint, 🎵 “i fuck with myself”.  I mean, when you drop the bomb 💣 in the song title, it instantly earns that parental advisory explicit lyrics – #Tipper Gore. Anyways, what’s interesting about f-bomb – the art of f🤬ckery, if you will (🤣) – is the context.  Is Alx Luke giving us TMI in terms of self-pleasure because he’s lonely and missing this guy (an ex) or is he fucking with himself in the head? While it’s hard to resist sexual innuendo, particularly if you can sneak a masturbatory reference into a pop song 😏, the latter seems to be case.

“I fuck with myself, I guess I’m just crazy

I need you out of my head, yeah, yeah, yeah

Can’t get you out of my head, yeah, yeah.”

“I fuck with myself” focuses on the emotional toil that Alx Luke is experiencing, making the song title a bit deceptive. Still, just like the 🎙 Meghan Trainor song, it totally 🎵 “Made You Look”!  Alx is trying to cope with the absence of this man but he’s getting deeper and deeper down this rabbit hole of heartbrokenness 💔. Sigh, 🎙️ Jimmy Ruffin said it best – 🎵 “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted”. You hate to see it, but then again, when the voice is as sweet as Luke’s, particularly that falsetto, and the production is #GIVING, you totally love to hear it 😜.  Admit it, you’re a little disappointed 🎵 “i fuck with myself” isn’t sexual, aren’t ya? Also, worth noting, there’s  🎵 “i fuck with myself… (Dj Break Remix)”.
