Yung Miami, F You [📷: Yung Miami LLC / Uptown Records]Fueled by a Millie Jackson sample, rapper Yung Miami is unapologetic as fizzuck on her brief single, “F You.”

“Fuck You.”
Yep, that’s quite an explicit, unapologetic, gives-no-fucks-type-of-way to begin a song. And here’s the kicker. Early on in her single, “F You,” it’s not Yung Miami (Caresha Brownlee) that says the obscenity. “F You” samples the 1979 Millie Jackson song, “Phuck U Symphony”. Boobie, Go Grizzly, Juko, and London On Da Track produced the brief but entertaining 2:09 single.

“F You” is fittingly set in a minor key. I mean, if you’re gonna cuss out somebody, you might as well go whole hog and embrace darkness, right? Even though Millie Jackson flips the bird first, Yung Miami is no fuckin’ slouch (see what I did there?).  She, too, is unapologetic from the get-go with no fucks given: “If it was up, it’s still the same, bitch (Fuck you) / Same gutter bitch, rich, but I ain’t changed shit.” That occurs before the chorus or verse! She delivers a compelling cadence and flow. She is hard-nosed and tough-minded.  The chorus follows the intro, with plenty of fuck you(s), including an incredibly endearing “Bitch, fuck ya.” She concludes the chorus with a bang: “Red cup type of night, so if it’s up, it’s stuck there / Say you don’t fuck with Caresha, now Miami don’t fuck with you.” Word.  The verse is a trip too. “I’m a mami, I’m a thotty, I’m a badass bitch,” she raps and continues, “Got an ocean for a pussy, suck a mean-ass dick (Uh).” Lawd have mercy! One stretch of the verse that goes incredibly hard:

“You can call me a ho, you could call me a trick

You could call me a scammer, say I fuck ’em too quick

You can say that I’m fake, but these Benjamins ain’t

The one thing that I ain’t is a broke-ass bitch.”

Ooh-wee! Yung Miami talks plenty of trash on “F You.” That’s an understatement! The single isn’t the second coming of rap but fueled by Millie Jackson and giving zero f’s while dishing plenty of them out, it is a banger worth spinning.
