First and foremost, it’s important to take 🎙 Wheeler Walker Jr. with a grain of salt.  The comedic country musician is known for being crude, outlandish, and totally over the top.  On 🎵 “Fucked by a Country Boy”, from his 2022 album, 💿 Sex, Drugs & Country Music, he’s unapologetic AF. Given the sexual nature of “Fucked by a Country Boy,” it’s tailor made for After Dark 🕛 🌃. The thing is, a lyric like, “But have you ever been smashed / To some old school Conway Twitty” is tame…

Yeah… what can you really say to that chorus? The second half isn’t much better than the fucking, ramming, and spreading that Walker Jr. asks about.  The thing is, as said above, it’s satirical – not meant to be taken serious.  Still, lyrics like “Fly down the map and lemme show your flap / Some home-cooked southern-fried meat / We’ll fuck you like family” are, well, disturbing.

Final Thoughts 💭

I can’t overemphasize NOT to take Wheeler Walker Jr. seriously.  Still, there’s no way around the fact that 🎵 “Fucked by a Country Boy” is just raw, raw, raw.  We’re in unapologetic times mind you but country music really hasn’t embraced f-bombs and highly sexual situations even in the 2020s.
