Innuendo? More like full-on sexual vibes! Welcome to After Dark 🕛 🌃, a column featuring songs that are best suited for nighttime, specifically, the bedroom.  Like Controversial Tunes 😈🎶, the records featured here raise eyebrows.  The difference between the songs of CONTROVERSY and DARK? These songs specifically focus on the universal topic of S-E-X. The dark records gracing After Dark are old and new alike, with all genres of music welcome.  On the 1st edition of After Dark, we explore the naughty, risqué, scandalous & utterly sexual vibes behind, 🎵 “Blow My Load” by 🎙 Tyler, The Creator

Theme & Lyrics

Tyler, The Creator (Tyler Okonma) has transformed himself into a truly respectable artist.  Prior to 💿 Flower Boy (2017), the rapper/singer/producer was still talented, but also ‘rough around the edges’ (UNDERSTATEMENT).  That’s where the perfect AFTER DARK song comes along with 🎵 “Blow My Load” (💿 Cherry Bomb, 2015). Here, Okonma ignores innuendo and suggestiveness aiming straight for matters of the universal three-letter word.

“I’ma eat your pussy ‘til you tell me you can’t take it
Screaming ‘Stop it,’ don’t you fake it, wanna tape it
Grab my camera, nine months later with a Tyler baby face
But that won't happen ‘til I blow my load.”

Yikes, more like day-um son!!! Tyler is entirely too honest about sex drive and specifically, his penis (and what ‘comes’ out of it).  The thing is, as crude as “Blow My Load” is with reference to ejaculation, masturbation, and all things sex (“I come quicker than pitches from Sammy Sosa”), it’s a beautifully produced record enlisting the services of 🎙 Wanya Morris (of 🎙 Boyz II Men), 🎙 Dâm-Funk, 🎙 Austin Feinstein and 🎙 Syd.

“Blow My Load” is NSFW to the nth degree, as the chorus proved.  Another example of Okonma’s lack of filter:

“Your pussy tighter than door hinges
I munch you like sandwiches
But not anymore ‘cause I’m on tour, so
Look: Face Time your clit, I will jack off my dick
I go hard, shit, I might need an ice pack on my wrist.”

Too much information Tyler! What you do with your joystick and your sexting habit should be private.  Instead, he gives us way too much information about the fun he’s having with his privates because he’s so horny.

“Fucking, I’m pumping, you know it’s coming
Bust in a couple of seconds, I’m sweating
I leave you slumped in the back of my truck, butt naked.”

Um… now shit is just getting super disturbing…

Final Thoughts 💭

Sigh, “Blow My Load” is the type of ‘after dark’ cut that leaves you speechless. Sure, aspects are relatable to guys everywhere, but many of us bow out when it comes (poor choice of words) to “I leave you slumped in the back of my truck, butt naked.”  Yeah, this one could’ve graced Controversial Tunes 😈🎶 too.
