“Deep down, you want me, I know you do.”
Don’t underestimate the power of desire. Also, don’t underestimate Grammy-winning South African pop sensation, Tyla. Tyla taps Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson for the assist on the infectious single, “SHE DID IT AGAIN”.  Lots of cooks in the kitchen made “SHE DID IT AGAIN” possible.  It was written by Tyla, Larsson, Zikai, Believve, Sammy Soso, Ari PenSmith, Mocha Bands, Brayton Bowman, and MNEK. Sammy Soso, Believve, Ari PenSmith, and Mocha Bands also produced it.

“SHE DID IT AGAIN” features colorful production.  The sounds are fresh and incredibly lush.  The beat is infectious, an expectation of Afropop, Afrobeats, and, specifically, Tyla records. Tyla delivers radiant vocals, singing authentically and expressively.  She draws first blood, performing the first verse, pre-chorus, and chorus. “I’m addictive, baby, what you want me to do?” she asks in the first verse. She references Sade in the pre-chorus: “No ordinary love, this is propane, no, it’s not safe.” The chorus is the crowning achievement – catchy as albeit.  The first time you hear it, you won’t get it unstuck from your head.

“Uh-oh, uh-oh

Uh-oh, uh-oh, ‘She did it again’

Even when you feel like you can

You can’t get me out of your head.”

Ooh-wee! There is also the post-chorus, excerpted earlier, in all of its desire-laden glory! Zara Larsson keeps the same energy as Tyla, taking the reins in the second verse and the second pre-chorus. “Put a man on his knees, not tryna tease,” she sings in the verse, and continues, “Oops, did it again like Britney, that’s how it is.” D-d-damn! She collaborates with Tyla during the second chorus with great synergy.  Tyla returns with the third and final verse, holding things down until the end. She drops two unforgettable lines: “I don’t like a fiend, don’t fiend, ease up / We are not a team; this is not FIFA,” and “Got a body like a bottle, doesn’t mean that you should spin the block.” Tyla, with the help of Zara Larsson, delivers the goods on “SHE DID IT AGAIN”, NO CAP!
