Tyga teams up with Megan Thee Stallion for “FREAK,” one of the nastiest, shallowest, sexed-up bangers of 2020.

“I need a freak, freak, freak / to rub my hair, hair, hair / I need a freak every day of the week / With her legs in the air, air, air…” Sigh, at this point, it should be common knowledge that Tyga keeps things basic AF musically.  His latest single, “FREAK,” is no exception.  His favorite topic, sex, is exemplified to the nth degree.  This round, however, he collaborates with Megan Thee Stallion, which doubles the dose of freakiness.

As the aforementioned chorus confirms, Tyga is definitely thinking with his penis – keeping it completely 100.  Honestly, what else could he be ‘thinking with’ with utterly filthy, XXX lines such as “Swallowin’ the meat, mmm, tell me if it’s sweet,” “I like a freak, woo, do it in the car, leave cum on the seat,” or “Open up your door, I got a big ass key…” All three reference his junk, and most of all, the pleasure he’s receiving or going to receive.  On the third verse, what he serves up is so good, well, he has a “House full of hoes, you could only imagine.”

As for Megan Thee Stallion, well, she isn’t outdone by Tyga, even with one less verse to work with.  She asserts, “I can do a trick you ain’t know make you cum.” Wow – some trick there Megan.  Of course, there’s additional carnality, such as “You ain’t eatin’, what you here for? Baby, I’m a nympho,” and “Real freaks don’t trip, they cum and then dip…” Wow!

Final Thoughts

The lyrics are what stand out about “FREAK” the most, but, it’s worth mentioning the record gets a lift from production by Mustard and Pliznaya. Also, as raunchy as this joint is, the chorus is undeniably catchy.  But, ultimately, if you are searching for any semblance of transcendence, well, you won’t find it here.  I mean, is Tyga really rapping about anything? Nope.  Does Megan Thee Stallion outrap him – of course.  Ultimately, “FREAK,” hence, is nothing more temporary stimulation…
