In the 95th edition of Beaming with Pride (2026), we highlight “Muscle Man,” performed by actor, musician, and director Thomas Dekker.
Are you ready to beam with P-R-I-D-E? Beaming with Pride highlights songs by LGBTQ musicians and allies, offering background, analysis, and discussion of the decadent bops served up. All music genres are welcome. Songs, old and new, are welcome as well. So, without further ado, in the 95th edition of Beaming with Pride (2026), we highlight “Muscle Man” performed by Thomas Dekker.
“Ain’t nobody know my body like you, like you.” Woo! Oh, to experience that 🥵 😈! Actor, musician, and director Thomas Dekker – what a mighty fine man! Beyond being easy on the eyes, he’s quite ‘easy on the ears’ on “Muscle Man.” “Muscle Man” is the seventh track on his 2026 album, Serpentine. Thomas gives us more than six-and-a-half minutes of steaminess! He says it best himself: “Well, hello, muscle man / Hello, hello.”
“Muscle Man” slaps from the very beginning. The production is modern, sleek, and vibrant. Strong production = the expectations of dance and electronic music. Rhythmic synths and intense drum programming shine. Set in a minor key, it sounds tailor-made for a sweaty gay club. Clearly, more than dancing is bound to go down! Even if this isn’t a lived experience for every gay man, “Muscle Man” feels like the appropriate soundtrack. Thomas Dekker shines in referencing this highly desirable, muscled-up hottie. “He comes, he moves, he looks, like an animal.” Comes, huh? Brilliant word choice, and perhaps the perfect preface to what’s to… wait for it… cum 🤭! Dekker has questions regarding this sexy ‘animal’: “Will you touch me if I kiss you? Will I kiss you if I touch you? I don’t know.” Perhaps you don’t know Thomas, but I do… I know exactly what I’d do. The earlier excerpted lyric says it all. The lust is real, perceptible through the breathy, playful, sometimes undertone baritone vocals. Dekker elaborates, “Ain’t nobody touch my body like you, like you.” 😈 And if there were questions early on, Thomas has no doubt what he wants. “Let’s fall in love (Let’s fall in love),” he asserts, and adds, “Let’s press our chests together / Don’t take the mirror down.” Oh, snap! Also, for good measure, he encourages him to “Now ravage me / RA-VAGE ME!” To reiterate, “Muscle Man” SLAPS! Notably, a remixed version of the song, “Muscle Man (Mascfish Remix)” featuring Los Angeles-based LGBTQ+ DJ and music producer MASCFISH (he/him), appears on Serpentine (Remixed).
