In the 62nd edition of 5ive Songs (2022), we select five songs that are associated with the EDGE in some form or fashion.

Blink-182, with Tom DeLonge back aboard, delivers a short, sweet, and utterly satisfying single, “Edging,” which plays to their strengths.

Overall, Canadian standout Avril Lavigne delivers a respectable return to form with her seventh studio album, Love Sux.

“11 Memorable Songs You Are Sure to Remember” features songs courtesy of blink-182, Chance the Rapper, Lady Gaga, Laura Daigle, and Thomas Rhett.

The always risqué, unapologetic rapper/singer Doja Cat delivers an entertaining, surefire blast with her blink-182 sampling gem, “Bottom Bitch.”

Veteran pop-punk collective Blink-182 returns with its third single of 2019, “Happy Days” following “Generational Divide” and “Blame It on My Youth.”

“8 Songs That Certainly Won’t Leave You Bored” features music courtesy of Ariana Grande, Matt Fishel, Tyler, the Creator, and Wallows.

“11 Songs About Pets, Well, Sort of” features ‘animal-centric’ music courtesy of Behemoth, Eric Church, Ghost, Sia and SZA among others.

Although ‘California’ is a respectable, enjoyable comeback from Blink-182, the punk-pop veterans miss former frontman, Tom DeLonge.
