H.E.R., 21 | Track Review

Grammy-winning urban contemporary standout H.E.R. continues to get better and better and better, exhibited by her stellar, reflective single, “21.”

Although not characterized as flashy, R&B singer/songwriter BJ The Chicago Kid delivers another solid, highly enjoyable R&B album with ‘1123.’

Big Sean is reflective and thoughtful on his single “Single Again” without necessarily being particularly exciting, innovative, or game changing.

Bangers are abundant while the lyricism and themes are basic on ‘In My Defense,’ the long-awaited sophomore album by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.

Beyoncé executive produces ‘The Lion King: The Gift,’ an enjoyable, crowd-pleasing collection that ties in with ‘The Lion King’ and embraces Africa.

“12 Songs That Are Either Black or White” features music courtesy of Foals, Greyson Chance, Psycroptic, Regina Spektor, and Vampire Weekend.

Grammy-nominated, ‘genre-bending’ artist Mike Posner taps Ty Dolla $ign for the reflective, hip-hop tinged pop single, “Look What I’ve Become.”
