Saweetie, "Fast (Motion)" [๐Ÿ“ท: ICY / Warner]Rapper Saweetie drops an utterly infectious, supremely confident banger with โ€œFast (Motion),โ€ set to appear on her debut LP.ย

As rapper ๐ŸŽ™ Saweetie puts it, โ€œFast, Iโ€™m coming in fast / First place, you coming in last.โ€ Now thatโ€™s some confidence right there! The confident lyrics appear on her infectious single, ๐ŸŽต โ€œFast (Motion)โ€, set to appear on her forthcoming debut album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Pretty Bitch Music.ย  Now thatโ€™s quite an album title.ย  Anyways, the rapper shines on this sleek, unapologetic cut, which runs just under three minutes.

Backed by lit production courtesy of ๐ŸŽ› The Monarch, Saweetie is on autopilot from the start, where she unleashes the catchy AF chorus (excerpted above).ย  Thereโ€™s no let-up beyond โ€œhitting that, hitting that gasโ€ as she follows up with an equally aggressive post-chorus where the โ€œLocomotionโ€ occurs, and she, quote, โ€œput it in motion.โ€ย  Over the course of two verses, sheโ€™s definitely the โ€˜baddest,โ€™ asserting on the first line of the first verse, โ€œIciest bitch in the whole damn land / I hit the road in an all-white Lamโ€™.โ€ Ah, the drip โ€“ never gets old! On the second verse, she gives a big middle finger to the haters, proclaiming, โ€œMad โ€˜cause Iโ€™m rich and Iโ€™m young and Iโ€™m cute / All eyes on me when I step in the room.โ€ย  Nothing she says throughout the course of the song is brand-new or the least bit innovative, but hey, she sells it well.

Final Thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญย

Will you leave โ€œFast (Motion)โ€ with a life changing perspective? Absolutely not, but you will leave with a new bop to add to the listening rotation.ย  Thereโ€™s nothing new that other female rappers havenโ€™t already delivers, but I definitely found myself nodding my head to it.ย  Definitely pretty damn catchy.
