In 2022, Canadian singer/songwriter 🎙 Rêve (Briannah Donolo) dropped a surefire, electronic banger of single with 🎵 “Tongue.” Yup, it’s giving #licky, licky, licky 👅!  “Tongue” appears as the eighth track on Donolo’s 2023, debut album, 💿 Saturn Return. It features incredibly slick production work by 🎛 Carl Ryden that exemplifies the electro-pop music sound and vibe. Rêve and Ryden penned “Tongue” alongside 🎼 ✍ Liam O’Donnell, Kirsten Johnson, and Bryn McCutcheon 💪.

“Tongue” finds Rêve characterizes a hottie – specifically, a hot girl – superbly:

“She’s that fine wine type, so pretty that it hurts

The next thing you know, you forget your safe word

She wolf drag me out of the goddamn closet

Knew before I did how bad I want it

Everybody says she a cunning linguist and strictly business.”

Woo! The lyrics are bold and unapologetic. Rêve performs confidently and fearlessly.  The chorus is incredibly infectious chorus: “I like the taste of your tongue / I like the thing that it does.” And, of course, another compelling moment comes by way of  “Kitty, kitty, kitty cat, kinda wanna piece of that.”  Honesty and transparency are the best policies, right? Right! All told, “Tongue” is a blast – a horny, naughty, totally rad electro-dance bop.
