Steamy Saturday features songs where the temperature is hot, and weโ€™re not talking about Celsius or Fahrenheit.ย  Songs appearing on this day are seductive; sensual; sexy. ย For Steamy Saturday, May 2, 2020, we relied on Grammy-winning R&B artist Kelly Rowland to provide us with some naughtiness via โ€œCoffeeโ€. For the May 9, 2020 edition of Steamy Saturday, weโ€™re also going to partake of coffee, albeit from Miguel via his risquรฉ, sexed-up 2015 album, WILDHEART.

Miguel sexes very wellโ€ฆlyrically speaking.ย  The man has a voice with the ability to woo women and make men jealous of his game.ย  โ€œCoffeeโ€ marks one of the sexiest moments from WILDHEART, with little to do with Folgers, Maxwell House, or Starbucks. Over the course of โ€œCoffee,โ€ he covers both the emotional and physical relationship.ย  While he balances, not making โ€œCoffeeโ€ merely carnal, it ends up being carnal โ€“ shocking! The innuendo is poetic, particularly when he sings, โ€œWordplay, turns into gunplay / And gunplay turns into pillow talk / and pillow talk turns into sweet dreams / Sweet dreams turns into coffee in the morning.โ€ The reference to โ€œcoffee in the morningโ€ suggests a night of play and perhaps, morning sex as well.ย  The best line: โ€œOld souls we found a new religion / Now Iโ€™m swimming in that sin, thatโ€™s baptism.โ€

As I stated last week, Miguelโ€™s โ€œCoffeeโ€ is brewed a bit stronger and more potent, Kellyโ€™s. ย Itโ€™s definitely indicative of what those Steamy Saturdays are all about. Do we need to spell it out for you? Okay: S-E-X.
