ime Juice are the Italian indie band who are spreading like a shockwave across the indie realms far and wide. Their new track ‘Quietude‘ is testament to their quality, and it proves their ability to mix up their sounds regularly.

Kicking off is a gently strum guitar rhythm which brings more flavour than a crisps multipack. It sits on a robust drum beat which thumps its way through the mix in a steady fashion. We are then in with a top-class vocal performance from frontman ‘Alessandro’ who sings with his all. He takes no hostages with his approach and the crunchy effect, which accompanies his vocal works tremendously well.

Captivating and fresh is the best way I can sum this one up. It is the type of indie which I relish most with it taking a vibe from the archives. The sound comes big, and it grows into a large gem towards the ending where all the instruments churn away in edgy motion. But, I would have liked to have heard a little more backing in places and a few harmonies too, that to me would not have gone amiss nevertheless, their ability to chuck out an indie anthem is evident. It is the type of record which would get the crowd surfing at a major festival, and it makes these lockdown days even more bearable.

However, the group are still relatively early on in their careers. Therefore they still have a lot to do to cement their name in the history books, however, if this track is anything to go by then they will have no problem hitting the nail firmer on the head with their next releases.
