Is there anything more steamy, more titillating than a sex ballad? No, of course not, and the talented, totally underrated 🎙 Kiana Ledé serves up a great one with 🎵 “Deeper”. “Deeper” arrived in advance of Ledé’s 2023 sophomore album, 💿 Grudges.  Even though the sensual vibes are firmly planted, “Deeper” is indeed deeper, or at least, classier, than one might expect. For example, early on, Ledé asserts, “I’m cravin’ your devotion / Gave you the key and that’s rare / ‘Cause I don’t just let anyone in.” That’s mic drop worthy!

The dedication and romance is a sizable part of the charm and excellence of “Deeper,” because clearly there is a deeper connection between two people. Lyrics like, “Don’t be scared, baby, I’m gon’ make it worth your while / Come and kiss my flaws, seduce my mind / Hope you got stamina for life” are sexy because they are authentic and meaningful.  Likewise, moments like “My walls need breakin’ /… Can you get me naked? /… ‘Cause there’s a part of me they don’t get to see” is great food for thought.  Adding to the allure of 🎵 “Deeper” are top-notch vocals by Ledé, and stellar production work (lots of cooks in the kitchen, btw).
