JSJ, Free [๐Ÿ“ท: JSJ]โ€œIโ€™m trying hard not to breathe / If I donโ€™t make movement, he cannot see me,โ€ the handsome and talented ๐ŸŽ™ JSJ (Joshua Sรคde James) sings on ๐ŸŽต โ€œFreeโ€.ย  He seems to capture a sentiment of wanting to be invisibleโ€ฆ James goes on to say he needs to step away from himself.ย  Addressing the elephant in the room, being different, particularly when it comes to sexuality, is TOUGH. Sure, itโ€™s viewed as a choice by some narrow-minded folks ๐Ÿ˜, but if thatโ€™s the case, quite the tough choice to be subjected to homophobia, scrutiny, and unfair treatment ๐Ÿคฌ. Moving on, James is past the BS and hiding. He is liberated on โ€œFreeโ€ and encourages everyone to live their truth, living freely on this must-hear Pride anthem.

JSJ is supported by exuberant, picturesque production work.ย  The ornate nature of the backdrop, with its rhythmic lines is impressive.ย  Itโ€™s a fitting soundtrack to freedom and living a refreshed life without being restrained. ย In the second verse, he has found his wings, asserting, ย โ€œI feel liberation now / After living for so many years, six feet underground / Through all the shit I finally see / I am powerful, worthy, and beautiful, and free.โ€ Yes, yes, yes ๐Ÿ’ช! ย Of course, arguably, the most fitting, freeing lyrics arrive in the chorus, intact with his marvelous, nuanced vocals:

โ€œAnd I believe

That you donโ€™t need to know where you are

Going to know who you are

And I can see

The universeโ€™s energy is wrapping all around me

We are free.โ€

pride heart burstWoo! That is some epic stuff right there.ย  The big takeaway is DO NOT let them takeaway or stifle your freedom or change who you are.ย  Live freely โ€“ be proud without shame ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ! Furthermore, crank this epic Pride anthem TF up!
