James Indigo & TAAHLIAH, Taste My Body | Spicy Tunez

In the 54^th edition of Spicy Tunez (2026), we explore the eyebrow-raising, naughty, sexed-up vibes behind “Taste My Body” by James Indigo & TAAHLIAH.

Aww, shee-it! Prepare to be shooketh! Spicy Tunez is a column filled with naughty, sometimes controversial, and NSFW songs 👀.  Some songs merely dabble in innuendo and suggestiveness.  Others, however, go whole-hog and embrace a give-no-fucks aesthetic, thrive on sexual endeavors, utter shock value, and sometimes find themselves firmly embroiled in censorship… DUN, DUN, DUN! In the 54^th edition of Spicy Tunez (2026), we explore the eyebrow-raising, naughty, sexed-up vibes behind “Taste My Body” by James Indigo and TAAHLIAH. 

You know, I’ve said the same thing, James Indigo (he/him pronouns).  Despite no preference for type, the London-based 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 gay rapper/songwriter does provide some wants on “Taste My Body”. “Just be cute and tight / Easy on my eyesight,” he spits in the first verse, and continues, “Spit and bite / Mouth game on fight / Ride me like a dirt bike.” Oh, snap! On “Taste My Body,” James collaborates with Glasgow-based 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 black trans electronic artist TAAHLIAH (Tahliah Simumba, she pronouns).  “Taste My Body” was written by TAAHLIAH.

“Taste My Body” is brief, running only about 2:15. Don’t let that dissuade you! That’s ample time for James and TAAHLIAH to titillate something fierce. Starting with the production, the first sound that stands out is the sickening drums.  They pack a mean punch, to say the least! Beyond the drums, bright, rhythmic, in-your-face hard synths pique the ears.  When the synths come to play, they add some seasoning – some heat! Speaking of heat, there is nothing hotter than those lower-pitched rapped vocals by James! Can you say, sexy? Or perhaps, it’s more like sex on the track! “Come ride with me / I like to party / Taste my body / Ouuuuuu,” Indigo spits in the second verse, and adds, “Ass fat, I like that / The more spit, the more fun / You know I’m about that / Beat it on all fours…” I’m speechless 😶! No extensive analysis is necessary on “Taste My Body”.  This queer dance cut is an exhilarating, spicy, and unforgettable ride.  Who would have it any other way?!
