ly Tbg, the rapper who was born in Portugal, has released a new single, ‘Meet Me in London‘, and it is rather ear-pleasing. The breakout artist, who is now based in the capital of the United Kingdom, exemplifies the hype that has been building up around him, and his passion for his profession is evident.

Ily delivers what is possibly his most riveting rap to date on the track ‘Meet Me in London,’ which features a base of afrobeat and pop music. It immediately results in a surge of adrenaline. He talks about initial encounters, the wave of excitement that occurs when one is finally able to meet with a loved one for the first time, and his narrative, which is exceptionally relatable, stands out.

Ily is garnering recognition in the UK and creating a lot of noise on the other side of the pond. Many people are drawing analogies between Ily and Justin Timberlake, and Ludacris. Although the hints to these musicians are not overly noticeable, it is clear that ily has studied the work of several of the most successful pop musicians. Ily is a powerful force vocally; he possesses the qualities that will propel him further up the ladder; yet, given he is still relatively new to the scene, a few more releases may be necessary to establish his name deeper into the modern songbook firmly.
