“Think you the shit, bitch? You not even the fart.” Oh snap! Better yet, oh shit! Ice Spice (Isis Gaston) comes out swinging on her biting single, “Think U The Shit (Fart)”. The most memorable section of the song is undoubtedly the chorus, led by that explicit but utterly memorable excerpted lyric. Gaston adds, “Bitches be quick, but I’m quicker / Bitches be thick, but I’m thicker / Soon could be rich, but I’m richer.” So, basically, these bitches (her words, not mine) think they’re the shit, but Ice Spice know that she is the shit. Got it!

Clearly, Gaston’s confidence is through the roof on this rap banger. She makes it crystal clear that she’s that girl: “Bitch, I’m a baddie, I get what I want.” Noted! As always, her flow is flowing, and she exemplifies being true to self and unapologetic. Furthermore, she’s backed by a sick instrumental, produced by RIOTUSA, Synthetic, and Venny. Those rhythmic synths are potent, while a knocking beat anchors. Does Ice Spice change the game, let alone the world with “Think U The Shit (Fart)”? No, but it is enjoyable, and I must say, I admire her confidence.
