Ed Sheeran spends his third nonconsecutive week at no. 1 with “Shape of You.” While that’s a huge story, a bigger one is the ascent of Lady Gaga, who reenters the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 4 with “Million Reasons.” In addition to Sheeran and Gaga, Big Sean, Sam Hunt, and Julia Michaels are among others making big moves on the Hot 100, dated February 25, 2017.
- Ed Sheeran retains the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Shape of You.” Meanwhile “Castle on the Hill” loses steam (no. 50 to no. 62).
- Lady Gaga re-enters the Hot 100 with “Million Reasons” at a new peak position, no. 4, following her stellar Super Bowl halftime performance. “Bad Romance” reenters at no. 50.
