“Ithink the fact that we’re brothers [🎙 David Mihaljević and 🎙 Goran Mihaljević] and that we grew up together makes our band Dreams & Bloom quite unique..” Agreed, 🎙 Dreams & Bloom! Dreams & Bloom adds, “Being brothers and being in the same band makes it unlikely for the band to split up.” Very true! Like our many other Getting to Know Q&As, we get the inside scoop on the Frankfurt, Germany two-piece: the genesis, goals, musical influences, and of course, current, and future musical endeavors. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into 🎤 Getting to Know…Dreams & Bloom: Interview No. 335!

For those who may not be familiar with Dreams & Bloom, what would you say makes you distinct or unique? How do you rock the audience’s socks off?

I think the fact that we’re brothers and that we grew up together makes our band Dreams & Bloom quite unique. Just think of bands such as Pantera, Van Halen, Paramore, Gojira, Stone Temple Pilots etc. Being brothers and being in the same band makes it unlikely for the band to split up. I guess that’s good news for everyone!

Okay, let’s explore some juicy backstories. How did Dreams & Bloom form and what were some of the goals or visions you had early on?

We’ve always played music together in various bands. All of that experience led us to form Dreams & Bloom in January 2020. Our goals and visions never changed since the day we started. Playing a Dreams & Bloom show with a stadium full of people singing our songs back to us is the goal we see in front of us.

Let’s talk more about goals.  Have your goals or your perspectives changed since first starting out? What do your aspirations or goals look like now?

Our goals and aspirations haven’t changed since day one. We want to be one of the greatest and biggest bands in the world. Our music is meant to reach a wide and global audience.

Everybody is influenced by somebody else. Whom would you consider some of your biggest musical influences and how are they influential?

Like any band, we are constantly inspired by music we grew up with and music we’re discovering every single day. Bands from The Beatles to Slipknot and everything in-between.

Up until this point in your career, what would you describe as your favorite song you’ve recorded or performed live? What makes that song special?

One of our favorite songs that we’re recorded and played live is the song 🎵 “Barricade” from our debut album, 💿 Through Obstacles. The song is deeply personal to us and playing it live always awakes a certain kind of emotion.

Dreams & BloomIs there anything else awesome, cool, or left of center the world should know about you? Secret talents or surprising tidbits?

At this point we’re just focusing on our music and making sure we give a 100 percent every step of the way. I guess that’s our only talent 🙂

Closing out, what is Dreams & Bloom currently working on, promoting that you can share with us or want us to know about? We love secrets, but there’s no pressure.

Yes! The video for our song 🎵 “Little Brother” is arrived Thursday, January 26th, 2023. It’s definitely the most personal and inside full video we made. We’re always writing and recording new music and content that will come out within the next weeks/months. Stay tuned for that!

Thank you so much for sharing and taking the time to answer these questions, and best of luck moving forward.
