Gary Mictian Leads With New Single ‘I Die Every Night’
Contributed by George James
T
he new track by Gary Mictian, “I Die Every Night,” ushers listeners into a new realm of electronic music. This brand-new banger is one that is high in quality and would not be out of place on a radio station that plays mostly commercial hits.Gary has been honing his skill while residing in the UK’s capital, and the fruits of his labour are beginning to show. It is a solo effort, with Gary laying everything down himself; it is inspiring given that he is on level with some of the biggest singles on the planet right now, even those with enormous recording budgets and resources. Gary makes the assertion that his sound is similar to what Charlie Puth’s would be like if he made electronic music, and we can’t say that we disagree with him in the least.
Gary has a strong voice, and he speaks openly and honestly from the perspective of someone who is having trouble getting over a breakup. He makes it clear of the hard realities of realising that the other person simply uses them when they are feeling lonely and that they do not, for the most part, have their best interests in mind. The music, on the other hand, is quite the contrary, with a feel-good rush emerging as it progresses.Β
The duration of the track is 3 minutes and 13 seconds, which is not unexpected considering that the majority of tracks of this type adhere to a consistent format. Although, it does feel like it could continue, but that is a trick Gary leverages keeping us eager to hear his next.
