G-Eazy, Bone Marrow © RCABay Area Standout G-Eazy and British standout Danny Seth team up for the profane, collaborative banger, “Bone Marrow.”

Bay area rapper G-Eazy has seen his fame increase exponentially. He is “kind of a big deal” without question.  After landing a platinum album with When It’s Dark Out, he returns with a pair of new singles: “Still” and “Bone Marrow” (featuring Danny Seth).

“Bone Marrow” initiates with malicious sounding production, courtesy of a dark synth. G-Eazy handles the intro:

“The British are here / the Bay is here, you know?”

The British reference is a shout out to partner in crime, Danny Seth. G-Eazy goes on to rap the first verse, spitting mad game:

“Leather pants and velvet shirts and VMA / I’m built for fame.”

The VMA reference reminisces on his performance with Britney Spears at 2016 VMAs. His cockiness only skyrockets beyond the aforementioned:

“Realest in the room / been real since the womb / Till I’m in the tomb / if I take your b*tch, then that p*ssy doomed / eat it like a spoon / your b*tch coming soon / like a motion picture.”

The sex references were imminent, and G-Eazy justifies his devilish nature on the hook:

“Bad to the bone, yeah, the bone marrow / b*tch I’m bad to the bone, yeah, the bone tomorrow / all I give a f*ck about is the dinero / they say, ‘You a fool boy, what’s wrong with Gerald?’”

Danny Seth, the self-characterized “Skinny white boy from Britain,” takes the second verse.

“In the hills, so steep / need the mills like a mink / and I come out on top, your career crappy / in her mouth like a cheap…”

Like Eazy, he follows up with hook afterward. His version gets a slight variation, referencing Xanax as opposed to dinero:

“I’m bad to the bone, yeah, the bone marrow / I’m bad to the bone, yeah, the bone marrow / all I wanna do is f*ck and take a xanny / they say, ‘You a fool man, what’s wrong with Danny?’”

Eazy & Seth split the third verse, trading bars. They go on to split the final hook as well.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, “Bone Marrow” is fire. The collaboration between G-Eazy and Danny Seth is a blessed one – in the most hellish way possible.  Neither MC holds back, letting both cockiness and filth run freely.  The final result is one sick banger.
