[otw_shortcode_dropcap label=”‘D” size=”large” border_color_class=”otw-no-border-color” shadow=”shadow” square=”square”]a Poloman and Sara Alavi release their poignant new hip hop track “Love At First Sight.”
I only received this track a few days ago, but ever since, I have been gripping to it for dear life. It is emotional, and the passion drips all over the mix from the moment Sara leaps forward to the mic. She sings a piercing message and her vocal harmony is heavenly in tone.
Musically, the track kicks off with a piano lead which gets the emotions flowing instantly. Also, not only does it set the tone for the entire piece, but it also stands out with distinction. It has a quality which we do not hear these days commonly, and it reminds me of hip hop from yesteryear with a genuine sense of nostalgia.
From the opener, Da Poloman gets underway with vigour. He raps a clear message, and he pushes forward with excellence. His rap is expressive, and although the story is a little cliche at times, it is relatable, and many will find it takes them to a place of calm and serenity with its calming structure.
As the track progresses, new sounds appear, and the musical foundation becomes even more profound. Furthermore, the synth becomes even bolder, and it meets the vocals perfectly with Sara dropping in from time to time to lend impressive harmonies. Towards the latter, it takes a step back before a colossal finale which will have you itching to hit replay.
Overall, “Love At First Sight” is a gem! It ticks all of my boxes, and it offers the perfect blend of energetic hip hop with an emotional message. Top work!
