Let’s be honest here.  It’s been years since Goo Goo Dolls have truly been relevant within the music industry.  That’s no disrespect, it’s just where their stardom lies at this point.  Only four official reviews compile the tepid score of 53.  Two reviews – Alternative Press and Classic Rock Magazine – assign Boxes a 70.  The other two – AllMusic and PopMatters – assign 3 stars (60) and 2/10 stars (20) respectively.  Wild.
