Rising teen rapper Comethazine keeps it short, sweet, and most of all blunt on single “Fuck Me in My Jag.”

Young rappers are running rampant these days.  Add 19-year old, St. Louis, Missouri rapper Comethazine to the list.  His new single, “Fuck Me in My Jag,” doesn’t leave much to the imagination. That’s just how things roll these days, for better or for worse.

“Fuck Me in My Jag” is ‘short and sweet,’ clocking in under two minutes.  The hook, inspired by the song’s title, is absolutely dumb, expectedly.

“Yeah, uh, uh, ayy / She wanna fuck me in my Jag, fuck me in my Jag…”

Ugh. To his credit, Comethazine is exuberant, on the hook as well as the sole verse.  Furthermore, the production is exuberant in its own right, sporting an urban contemporary sound. Naturally, it’s anchored by sick drum programming. Moving back to the vocals, the rapping is devoid of substance. Comethazine focuses on sex (“Ride ‘round with a thottie, bitch I’m piping from the back”), smoking (“Come and spend a bag / We gon’ smoke some boofie”), and references to violence (“Had to upgrade from the Glock, went straight to choppers and MACs”).

Final Thoughts

What’s the verdict on “Fuck Me in My Jag?” It’s enjoyable, at least through one listen, but lacks substance.  Like so many young rappers, Comethazine builds on clichés.  Since they are clichés, what’s left to build? This is a temporary buzz, nothing permanent.
