Buckshot & fakemink, Fever | Dazzling Duets

In the 29^th edition of Dazzling Duets (2026), Irish rapper Buckshot and English rapper fakemink collaborate on “Fever.”

These duets can be from any musical style, making Dazzling Duets a flexible, versatile column. In the 29^th edition of Dazzling Duets (2026), Buckshot and fakemink collaborate on “Fever”. Let the dazzle begin!

OKAY?! Well, actually, considering lean is being referenced, not-so-okay. Anyway, Irish 🇮🇪 rapper Buckshot (Colm Keogh) and English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 fakemink (Vincenzo Nischal Camille Bhatia) joined forces on the brief banger, “Fever”.  The duo wrote “Fever” alongside producers Oscar18 and GRIMOIRE.

“Fever” features vibrant, electronic-driven rap production.  The energy is apparent from the opening notes. Beyond the colorful sounds, Fakemink and Buckshot match the energy when performing their respective parts. Fakemink draws first blood, performing the chorus, which appears at the top of the record.

“You know I’m cold, but I’m hot, got a fever

I’m puttin’ Tris in a Crush two-liter

We got yay’, come fluffy like a bunny

Blood on my Givenchy tee, nose runnin’

I’m with Buckshot, summertime drivin’

Hot outside, so we gotta keep the top off

Up now, but you know I still bust shots

High-grade, they like, ‘Wait, let me cop some.’”

Woo! How are you not hyped up after that?! Buckshot performs the first verse, bringing the heat: “Under city lights, movin’ outta frame / West Village bitch, but she won’t stay the same.” Word, particularly the end of the verse 👀. Anyway, fakemink performs a brief second verse, asserting, “But I don’t got time, bitch, I’m married to the game / Fast I – fast life, man, I’m lovin’ this pace.” Buckshot takes the reins, once more on a brief third verse where he’s saved… well, not really: “I found God in the bathroom stall / Forgive my sins, pray to Saint Laurent.” As my pastor says, frequently, it must be God with a small ‘g.’  Following another fakemink chorus (repeated twice for emphasis), Buckshot performs the fourth and final verse.  It’s giving confidence, dope, lux, and “fallin’ backwards,” apparently.  Following fakemink’s final chorus, producer Oscar18 gets a shoutout during the outro. All told, “Fever” is a piece of work. If nothing else, Buckshot (IRL) and fakemink make a formidable duo.
