Boy Golden, KD and Lunch Meat | Track Review 🎵

Canadian musician Boy Golden is sure to make you high on his intriguing single “KD and Lunch Meat” from his debut LP, Church of Better Daze.

For Canadian alternative musician 🎙 Boy Golden (Liam Duncan), he doesn’t seem to have a care in the world.  Perhaps that’s just his personality, as a ‘minister’ of 💿 Church of Better Daze, his debut album (July 16, 2021). Or, maybe it’s the weed, which is prominent throughout the jubilant, carefree single at hand, 🎵 “KD and Lunch Meat”.  Regardless, I’ll have what he’s having – well – sans the ganja.  Not knocking those who partake, of course. #4:20 Friendly.[/otw_shortcode_dropcap]

Anyways, dubbed the “A Canadian Cannabis Hero” by Exclaim, it’s clear that Boy Golden has the perfect personality to be an artist.  Throughout the course of “KD & Lunch Meat,” he oozes with it, even those chiller, mellower moments giving off those stoner vibes.  Besides his singing and approach to executing the song, the songwriting – those lyrics – are potent 💨.  Yes, like whatever strain of weed Golden is smoking, the lyrics are colorful and reflect totally relaxed vibes.  It’s kind of like, hey, as long as we have just enough to make it, each other, an of course, weed, ‘we’re good.’  Is it unrealistic to some extent? Perhaps, but you’ve got to appreciate the fact that “KD and Lunch Meat” conveys living one’s best life without worry, strife, or excess.

Final Thoughts 💭

All in all, Boy Golden shines on “KD and Lunch Meat.” He showcases his personality, vocal skills, and a colorful, intriguing approach to songwriting.  Throw in solid production and killer vibes and this is the stoner anthem you totally didn’t know you needed.
