Adam Lambert, ADAM [📷: More is More LLC]Grammy-nominated, American Idol runner-up extraordinaire Adam Lambert brings a decadent musical feast on his dynamic single, “EAT U ALIVE.”

“Straight through the heart, baby / I’m deep in your bones.”
Oh, snap, Adam Lambert! The Grammy-nominated pop star has always tickled my fancy. And NO, I won’t let go of the fact he was robbed on his season of American Idol! Lambert, of course, has moved on to bigger and better things with his big ole awesome voice! The song at hand, “EAT U ALIVE”, marks another excellent musical offering from Lambert. It marks the lead single and third track from Lambert’s 2026 album, ADAM (arriving July 10, 2026). “EAT U ALIVE” was written by Lambert, Alna, Brasko, David Pramik, and Pete Nappi. Nappi and Pramik also produced it.

“EAT U ALIVE” commences coolly and enigmatically with rhythmic guitar accompaniment. Adam Lambert enters, singing in a relatively calm and intimate manner… initially. Triggered by a charming “Motherfucker, you’re mine,” things intensify. An MF bomb intensifies anything! The chorus is dynamic, thanks to Lambert’s high-flying vocals and the addition of rhythmic synths and other instruments.

“You know my love’s gonna eat you alive

Swallow you up when you come take a bite

I want you

In the night, sinkin’ teeth

Into you, into me

Eat you alive, oh.”

All I can say is, d-d-damn! The second verse, excerpted earlier, has more punch than the first.  Adam digs in more, and the electronic components are fully integrated.  While he keeps the high for most of the rest of the song, he does bring it back down, temporarily, towards the end, before building back up to a grand, anthemic pop/rock chorus. In short, “EAT U ALIVE” is another engaging and entertaining record by Adam Lambert.  Adam, my forever American Idol, remains special and deserves far more recognition than he receives.
