1. Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion, āWAPā
āWAPā // Atlantic // 2020Ā
āThereās some whores in this house! / Thereās some whores in this house!ā The acronymic song āWAPāāÆhad everyoneās undivided attention! Cardi BāÆand Megan Thee StallionāÆare known for their fiercely, sexed-up personas, and āWAPā shows them straight-up flexing. Modesty is never the modus operandi on this former no. 1 hit with āwhoresā being the first word of the song on the intro (the record samples āWhores in This HouseāāÆby Frank Ski).Ā
Cardi B asserts at the end of the intro, āWet-ass pussy, make that pullout game weak, woo.ā She goes on to speak about the wetness in the chorus, while in the first verse, she asserts, āHop on top, I wanna ride / I do a Kegel while itās inside.ā As for Megan Thee Stallion, in the second verse, she begins with a bang: āGobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me / Quick, jump out āfore you let it get inside of me.āĀ It doesnāt stop there as both have additional verses with shocking, highly sexual lyrics. The āfreakyā perspective wonāt be relatable or win everyone over but give them credit for such a raw joint where the women freely express their sexual desires like the men frequently do.Ā

2. Sexyy Red & Bruno Mars, āFat Juicy & Wetā
āFat Juicy & Wetā // Rebel / gamma. / The Smeezingtons / Atlantic // 2025
āFat, juicy, and wet (Ah-ah) / I donāt even gangbang, pussy so good / Make me throw up a set (Ah-ah), uh / That good kitty-kitty, good kitty-kitty.ā Well, meow! Raise your hand if you ever envisioned a Sexyy Red (Janae Wherry) and Bruno Mars collaboration. āFat Juicy & Wetā finds the raunchy, Gen-Z St. Louis rapper and the Grammy-winning millennial pop/R&B artist working together. Mars, Wherry, Jeremy Reeves, Jonathan Yip, Kameron Glasper, and Ray Romulus penned āFat Juicy & Wet.ā Mars and The Stereotypes produced it. Early on, Bruno shocks us with his overt, sexed-up chorus.Ā We expect no less of Sexyy Red, who gets down and dirty in the first verse, but to hear Mars talk about pussy so freely and often⦠it āhitsā different. āYou better arch your back, put your ass into it.ā Ooh-wee! Sexyy Redās sexcapades arenāt shocking:
āAyy, slob on my clit, suck on my toes
Twenty-four-karat, pussy drip like gold (Ooh)
Throw my legs back, eat my booty from the front (Mm)
Milk mustache on your face when I cum (Yeah).ā
Itās filthy, mind you, but on brand for her.Ā She drops a second verse that remains NSFW including āTitties on your forehead,ā āArch your back, put your ass into it,ā and āSquirt in your mouth.ā Nasty, nasty, nasty.Ā The sound is giving West Coast, hyphy vibes, which is perfect for a sex song.Ā āFat Juicy & Wetā is something else!

3. Adam Lambert, āWET DREAMā
AFTERS (EP) // More is More LLC // 2024Ā
āLose my mind, get psychotic / Imagining all the things you like.ā Get psychotic? Oh, my! Itās the imagination part that is most fun, however, particularly when it comes to sexual dreams. Hard to come by but possible after a certain age, Adam Lambert references wet dreams in āWET DREAMā, the second track from his 2024 EP, AFTERS. āWET DREAMā was penned by Lambert, Ferras, JHart, Sarah Hudson, and producer, Zhone. The sleekly produced, dance-pop banger thrives off a stellar beat, electrifying synths, and sexy instrumental and vocal vibes.
āWET DREAMā has no shortage of intriguing lyrics.Ā In the second verse, Adam Lambert sings, āPurple Haze, psychedelic / Wake me up and make the dream feel real.ā The sexual experiences of wet dreams arenāt real sadly, but, Lambert wants to experience the real deal š. He is particularly playful on the songās refrain with breathy, seductive vocals: āIn the zone, here we go-go, silicon / Now you know how a homo take it home.ā Heās not ashamed of his sexuality, nor should he be. The refrain occurs once before the chorus and reappears at the end of the record. The chorus is infectious:
āI canāt sleep ātil weāre down in the deep
All I need is your body heat
I canāt sleep ātil weāre down in the deep
I dive into your love like a wet dream.ā
During the chorus, Adam is commanding, delivering some sickening, high-powered pipes.Ā All told, āWET DREAMā is a sexy dance-pop cut. Itās not over-sexual but whenever you mention wet dream, thereās no way it canāt be sexual, right? Right!

4. Doja Cat, āWet Vaginaā
Scarlet // Kemosabe / RCA // 2023
āI bring the drip with wet vagina.ā Whoa, whoa, whoa! Say what?! Only Doja Cat could pull off a song like āWet Vagina.ā āWet Vaginaā is the third track from the Grammy-winning rapper/singerās fourth studio album, Scarlet. Produced by Kurtis McKenzie, Cadenza, Flip_00, and whereyouathan, it features stellar detuned synths and a banging trap beat. Doja maintains an edge, dropping unapologetic bars and an aggressive approach.
āI been puttinā twenties in they titties on stage,ā she asserts in the first verse, adding in the second, āPass the popcorn ācause I really like rap beef / I got hot songs, thatās why everybody at me.ā WORD. Sheās cocky and confident with no shortage of š§, hence the wetness.

5. Marsha Ambrosius, āWetā
CASABLANCO // Aftermath / Interscope // 2024
āOn your loving I be overdosing / You make my heart stop / From cutting it close and / Baby, you were chosen.ā Donāt die on us, Marsha Ambrosius! Ambrosius is a pro at delivering sex songs. āWetā, the seventh track from her 2024 album, CASABLANCO, is no exception.Ā This near-four-and-a-half-minute ballad features a shit-ton of songwriters.Ā Why? Notably, it samples four songs: āIn The Rainā by The Dramatics, āInside My Loveā by Minnie Riperton, āMethod Manā by Wu-Tang Clan, and āMoodyās Mood for Love (vocal version)ā by James Moody featuring Eddie Jefferson. Ambrosius produced āWetā alongside Dr. Dre, Focusā¦, and Erik āBlu2thā Griggs. Ā Even with ample cooks in the kitchen, the resulting S-E-X song is epic.
āOcean flow below my legs / Swim in it, go diving insideā¦ā Holy shit, Marsha! As always, she serves up sexy, smooth vocals.Ā It is easy to buy what she sells. After all, we all enjoy pleasure at some point š¤ š. Once the beat enters the mix, it is hard-hitting and soulful, anchoring the naughty lyrics and soulful backdrop.Ā One of the best moments is the full-length chorus, which appears at the end of āWetā:
āYou can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride
Inside my love?
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride
Inside my love?ā
Something tells me that come should be spelled differently in this context.Ā Also, ride, huh? When the song is entitled āWetā, and it comes from a female perspective, we know āwhat it is.ā āKiss on this and make it dance / Take it, baby, giving you permission with persistence.ā Weāll leave it at that!

6. Zheani, āBRING WET C**Tā
The Spiritual Meat Grinder // Zheani / Access // 2023
āI squirt for pictures Nikon / I lost all grace oh my god / Goddess, female Adonis.ā Word, Zheani!Ā She does not censor or tame anything on āBRING WET CUNTā, the second track from her 2023 mixtape, The Spiritual Meat Grinder.Ā Anytime that C-U-Next-Tuesday comes into play, boldness and unapologeticness are in full fruition.Ā As the excerpted lyrics suggest, Zheani is serving cunt without reservations.Ā āThe way this cunt taste is famous / Donāt get me started ābout fragrance,ā she asserts in the first verse, concluding, āIām giving all you can eat / Iām giving them what they want.ā Gah-day-um!
And what they want is wet cunt.Ā In the chorus, she confidently sings, āBring, bring, bring, wet, bring / Bring we cunt to the dance floor.ā The dance floor is lit in Zheaniās hands.Ā She penned āBRING WET CUNTā alongside producer Solsa who provides a fierce backdrop for her to sing over. In the second verse, Zheani keeps it NSFW.Ā āIām obscene / Body is making a scene / They wanna bounce so let those girls go free.ā Those girls, of course, are her breasts.Ā But, again, the focus is her⦠you know⦠āPussy is Dior, and my sweat Prada.ā Her most controversial moment occurs at the end of the second verse, where she sings, āMother Mary, cuntās my son.ā Yikes! āBRING WET CUNTā is something else. That is an overstatement.Ā The shock value is full force on this electronic pop cut.Ā

7. Claud, āWetā
Supermodels // Saddest Factory // 2023
āOh, oh, feeling like your boyfriend / I know you would never date him / Besides, I never thought I wanted you.ā And with those intriguing lyrics begins āWetā by nonbinary musician Claud (Claud Mintz, they/them). āWetā is the fifth track from their 2023 sophomore album, Supermodels. Mintz wrote āWetā with producers Zachary Seman and Roger Kleinman. This watery tune has ample pros. It is groovy, features honest songwriting, and a solid vocal performance by Claude.Ā The verses yield plenty of bright spots, especially the second: āCome in close enough to see your / Breath is fogging up the mirror / I swear that was just to hear you / Promise itās sincere.ā Word.Ā The section to beat is the memorable, tuneful chorus, in all of its glory:
āThatās not an apology
But Iāll take what I can get
Dip your feet but not too wet
I swear this isnāt like me
But youāre standing on the edge
Say youāll never ump, but I know you want it.ā
Woo! The bridge deserves a shout-out too, providing welcome contrast. Claud asserts, āKnowing me, Iāll do what you say /⦠And knowing you, youāll never hesitate.ā Hmm, to reiterate a key line from the chorus, āDip your feet, but not too wet!ā

8. Sofi Tukker, āWet Tennisā
WET TENNIS // SOFI TUKKER, LLC // 2022Ā
āCome play with me / Itās about to get freaky / Bring your hips to life.ā Oh, snap! Hmm, āWet Tennisā Ā must be different from plain old tennis, Sofi Tukker! The electronic, āFuck Theyā pop duo (Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern) spice up the sport with sexual innuendo and double entendre.Ā Sofi Tukker composed āWet Tennisā alongside producer John Hume.Ā Hume produced with Bynon and Andres Levin.
It is not only the lyrics that make āWet Tennisā intriguing.Ā The music ākicks ass and takes names.ā The instrumentation includes a trumpet (Luis FernĆ”ndo ChĆ”vez) and an organ (Daniel Flores), which adds a mean punch.Ā Furthermore, the percussive groove (Gilmar Gomez) fuels the funky fire. Ā Sophie sets the tone, drawing first blood in the first verse (āHonestly, if somebody knew everything that I know / I think that everybody would be coming to my chĆ¢teauā).Ā Then, she unveils the pre-chorus, excerpted at the top.Ā Her and Tucker (parenthesized) collaborate in the infectious chorus:
āSo, what are you waiting for?
(Itās your serve)
Wonāt you come on over?
(The ballās in your court)
If itās one on one, if itās two on two
I wanna play wet tennis all night with you.ā
Has tennis ever sounded more compelling? Memorably, Sophie asks Tucker āWhatās the scoreā in the second verse, to which he memorably responds, āItās love, love.ā Of course, it is š. Sofi Tukker delivers an epic bop with āWet Tennisā.

In English, the statement in Portuguese reads as follows: In the bridge, CHAMELEO sings, āHey baby, I dreamt about you last night / I don’t remember exactly what it was / But I remember it was wet.ā Wet as in a wet dream, CHAMELEO? CHAMELEO, for context, is an indie-pop musician from Brazil. The lyrics hail from his song, āwet dreamsā, the ninth track from his 2023 album, ALTA TENSĒO. āWet dreamsā was composed by CHAMELEO, Bibi, and Jenni Mosello. Lucas Vaz and Zur Parsiaty produced it.Ā The backdrop is colorful and ear-catching. CHAMELEOās vocals are ear-catching too.Ā He sings expressively as he depicts sweet fantasies.
āVocĆŖ entra na minha cama toda noite, nos meus sonhos,ā CHAMELEO sings in the first verse, adding, Quanto mais ‘cĆŖ me ignora, mais eu fico fantasiando.ā In English, the lyrics translate as, āYou come into my bed every night, into my dreamsā and, āThe more you ignore me, the more I fantasize.ā Ooh-la-la. That is the spirit of a wet dream, isnāt it? Other highlights include (translated in English), āMy desire, my need / Wet dreaming in an empty bedā (verse two) and, āYou come home, and we kiss / You put me on the table so you can control me / I start at the neck, go down, and stay there for half an hourā (pre-chorus). Oh, snap! In the chorus, the tongue is key: āAh-ah, ah-ah / I lick everything / La-ah, la-ah / I lick you.ā All told, CHAMELEO sufficiently stimulates in āwet dreamsā. The music is sweet, and the theme ā sexy AF!

10. RiFF Raff, āWetter Than Tsunamiā
Neon Icon // Mad Decent // 2014
āIce on my hands should have won a damn Grammy!ā Last time I checked RiFF Raff, being āiced outā doesnāt qualify you to win a Grammy. In āWetter Than Tsunamiā from his 2014 album, Neon Icon, the rapper references his gifts as a rapper (heās the ice), stating those gifts should have already been recognized.Ā Ā Throughout this wet-ass song, RiFF Raff spits ample⦠bullshit. āMet this bitch at the mall, ass like two volleyballs,ā he raps in the first verse, continuing, āSupersize the chain, like it was McDonaldās.ā So, he lusts after a hottie with a mean booty and enjoys the biggest, gaudiest bling-bling.Ā That shit is wet! Continuing to brag about his drippy bling, he spits in the second verse, āHyper color chain with the Similac flow / Rocking all this snow, might freeze a rainbow.ā That man is iced out, and his flow is like babyās formula⦠āWetter Than Tsunamiā is a wet song that is best taken when a grain of salt.

11. Midnight Star, āWet My Whistleā
No Parking on the Dance Floor // Unidisc Music, Inc. // 1983Ā
āWet my whistle / Wet my whistle / Wet my whistle.ā Whistle sufficiently wetted. In 1976, in š Frankfort, Kentucky, at HBCU Kentucky State University, the R&B collective Midnight Star was formed! The band would impact both the pop and R&B charts, further enriching R&Bās illustrious history. Ā The song at hand, āWet My Whistleā, appears as the fifth track from their 1983 album, No Parking on the Dance Floor. Notably, āWhistleā was written and produced by Reggie Calloway.
āWet My Whistleā cooks from the get-go.Ā Callowayās production is well-rounded.Ā The keys and synths are sleek, while the percussive groove is sickening and funky to the nth degree.Ā Midnight Star is locked in with their marvelous, harmonized vocals.Ā The melodies are tuneful, drawing you in. Ā As for the songwriting, the lyrics are relatable, encompassing matters of the heart. āJust like sweet wine, baby / Your loveās intoxicatin’,ā Midnight Star sings in the first verse, continuing, āWhy’d I have to taste it? Mmm / ‘Cause Iā’s much too good to waste it.ā Ooh-wee! The second verse is equally enticing:Ā āLove was never on my mind / I thought Iād better take my time / But girl, you drive me crazy.ā Ā As awesome as the verses are, the section to beat is the infectious, whistle-wetting chorus:
āI just had to wet my whistle
When I kissed your lips, girl
I couldnāt get enough
I had to wet my whistle
Just a little bit, baby
Was much too much
Wet my whistle.ā
Midnight Heat excels on āWet My Whistleā.Ā No, it didnāt ignite the pop charts on fire (number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100), but this love-oriented joint is sweet, sweet, sweet! Ā Ā

12. Frank Zappa, āFembot in a Wet T-Shirtā
Joeās Garage Acts I, II & III // UMG Recordings, Inc. // 1979Ā
āāCause the sign outside says itās āWet T-Shirt Niteā / And they all crave some pink delight.ā Word. Legendary guitarist and composer Frank Zappa (1940 ā 1993) was one of a kind. Ā That is an understatement for a musician who exemplified innovative spirit ā pushing the envelope with his discography.Ā The unusual song at hand, āFembot in a Wet T-Shirtā, is the fifth track from Zappaās 1979 album, the ārock opera,ā Joeās Garage Acts I, II & III. Ā Originally, Joeās Garage Acts I, II & III was released as two separate albums: Joeās Garage: Act I and Joeās Garage: Acts II & III.Ā Interestingly, āFembot in a Wet T-Shirtā was originally named āWet T-Shirt Niteā on Ā Joeās Garage: Act I. Zappa wrote and produced āFembot,ā while Ike Willis performed the lead vocals.
From the jump, āFembot in a Wet T-Shirtā is ear-catching. How could it not be? There are plenty of jazzy instrumental moments that make the song stand out.Ā A key instrument within the accompaniment is the vibraphone, a common, colorful mallet percussion instrument used in jazz. Ā The sung melodies are rhythmic and quick-paced.Ā This also contributes to the wild, unusual vibe of āFembot.āĀ As for the lyrics, they are wacky from the get-go. āWell, the girls are excited / Because in a minute, theyāre gonna get wet,ā Ike sings in the second verse, continuing, āAll the boys are delighted / Because all the titties will get āem upset.ā A wet t-shirt contest is enticing to straight boys⦠āWhen the water gets on them / Their ninnies get rigid and look pretty bold,ā Ike adds in the third verse.Ā I am speechless š¶. Ā Within the concept of the rock opera, the character Mary, a groupie abandoned by the band, enters a wet t-shirt contest at The Brasserie to make some money⦠let that sink in. An entire essay could be devoted to āFembot in a Wet T-Shirtā, a song that features unusual harmonies, instrumental ideas, spoken word, and an unorthodox approach.Ā Because it is so odd, that is a big part of the charm.

13. Prince, āSoft and Wetā
For You // NPG / Legacy Recordings // 1978
āIf this is lust, then I must confess I feel it every day / If this is wrong, then I long to be as far from right as I may.ā Ooh-wee, Prince! āSoft and Wetā is the third track from For You, Princeās rare debut LP, released in 1978. āSoft and Wetā barely cracked the pop charts, peaking at number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100. Notably, it only spent four weeks in the charts. The Purple One penned āSoft and Wetā with Chris Moon. Prince produced it.
Despite being a minor hit for Prince, āSoft and Wetā has a lot of positive things going for it. It thrives off its funky keys and synths.Ā The groove is infectious. As always, Prince delivers lovely, high-flying vocals.Ā His falsetto stands out. The melodies are both rhythmic and tuneful. Early on, āSoft and Wetā shows off the potential and talent that Prince would become before breaking through. Ā Lyrically, there are plenty of captivating moments. āHey, lover, sugar, donāt you see? / Thereās so many things that you do to me,ā he sings in the first verse. In the second, he asserts, āAll I wanna feel is a burning flame / Tell me, tell me, baby, that you feel the same.ā Word. In the third and final verse, he sings, ā(Hey lover) / Youāre just as soft as a lion tamed / Youāre just as wet as the evening rain.ā As strong as the verses are, the chorus is the centerpiece, highlighting the titular lyrics:
āSoft and wet
You are soft and wet
Your love is soft and wet
Ooh, soft and wet
Ooh, oh.ā
Is āSoft and Wetā an underrated Prince song? Yes, though it is fair that the song is not considered the top of his catalog.Ā Still, with that mean falsetto and those funky synths, this early Prince song deserves more love.Ā
