1. Jazmine Sullivan, “On It”

“On It” is a standout from   Heaux Tales, the long-awaited, comeback album (or EP, apparently) by Grammy-nominated R&B singer, Jazmine Sullivan.  Sullivan enlists fellow R&B artist Ari Lennox for the assist.  The resulting duet encompasses ample reference to the D – “D” as in ‘dick’ of course.  Worth noting, “On It” follows another sexually charged song on Heaux Tales, “Put It Down”. 

The double entendre of “On It” is steamy AF.  “Let me sit on it, yeah / I want you to prove it,” the ladies sing on the chorus, adding, “Baby come on and prove / Why I should move / I want to spit on it.” Damn, what can you really say to that! The power of the peen is sufficiently explored to say the least. Expectedly, there are references to size, the mouth, and of course, ‘waves.’  It’s risqué, but it’s an example of women liberating and unleashing their sexual side, which is cool.

2. Serpentwithfeet, “Wood Boy”

“Wood Boy” marks one of the best songs from DEACON.  DEACON is the sophomore album from openly gay, alternative R&B artist serpentwithfeet (Josiah Wise).  This incredibly sensual record represents one of the biggest discussion pieces of DEACON.

Remaining true to who he is, serpentwithfeet describes the pleasure of gay sex. Serpentwithfeet lets us know what he likes and how he likes it.  More people should be honest about sex and sexuality, right? Anyways, there’s no escaping sexual roles (“Damn, I like him inside me”) or size (“He’s stacking that wood / Just like he should / Got my wood, wood boy”).  That’s grown-folk, adult conversation, but ultimately, it’s tastefully done.

3. Cardi B, “WAP”

“There’s some whores in this house! / There’s some whores in this house!” The acronymic song “WAP” had everyone’s undivided attention! Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are known for their fiercely, sexed-up personas, and “WAP” shows them straight-up flexing. Modesty is never the modus operandi on this former no. 1 hit with “whores” being the first word of the song on the intro (the record samples “Whores in This House” by Frank Ski).

Cardi B asserts at the end of the intro, “Wet-ass pussy, make that pullout game weak, woo.” She goes on to speak about the wetness on the chorus, while on the first verse, she asserts, “Hop on top, I wanna ride / I do a Kegel while it’s inside.” As for Megan Thee Stallion, on the second verse, she begins with a bang: “Gobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me / Quick, jump out ‘fore you let it get inside of me.”  It doesn’t stop there as both have additional verses with shocking, highly sexual lyrics. 4. Usher, “Good Kisser”

“Good Kisser” •   RCA •   2014

“Don’t nobody kiss it like you.” On  “Good Kisser,” Usher certainly doesn’t keep it PG – at best, he’s restricted.  The kisses he’s singing about don’t involve a peck on the cheek or even full-on lip action.  No, the kisses he sings about on are those ‘deep south’ kisses, involving his private parts – ‘little Usher’ if you will.

He gets raunchy, but certainly men can relate to the central theme…

5. Ryan Beatty, “Flowers at the Door”

“Draw on the pages, I won’t erase it / I want your mark on me, eternal.” Clearly,   Ryan Beatty is totally feeling ‘some type of way’ about him! Cutting straight to the chase, while the lyrical excerpt suggests a deep connection with a partner,   “Flowers at the Door” (  Dreaming of David) seems to be most thankful about a hot, freaky sexual experience. The sexual experience is artfully executed sans profanity. That said, lyrically, it’s clear that Beatty isn’t the least bit ‘innocent.’

Key lyrics from the first verse include the brilliant “Our heads connected, I got the message / You had your hands around my skull,” and “I look up to you when I’m below.”  Ponder it, and you realize it’s poetically portraying oral ‘pleasure’ involving the “joystick.”  The chorus expands upon the ‘happening,’ as Beatty sensually asks, “Why don’t you turn me around?” (aka hit it from the back to quote the rappers).  The bridge also sheds some light: “What’s so wrong with wanting more? / Rollin’ on the hardwood floor.” Clearly, Ryan is thankful for the ‘bouquet of flowers received at the door,’ and can’t wait for more…

7. Bloodbath, “Eaten”

“I always had the fantasy, and, in the end, I fulfilled it”. Armin Meiwes (1961 – ), a native of Rotenberg, Germany, infamously killed and ate Bernd Brandes. Eating human flesh naturally earns Meiwes the title of a cannibal.  Killing, coupled with the sexual pleasure, creates a ‘new monster,’ vorarephilia. Making things even worse is that Brandes agreed to be eaten and killed. That’s certainly not in line with euthanasia, particularly considering Brandes wasn’t physically ill or near death. As far as what he was thinking mentally himself, well, that’s a totally different conversation.  While we’re just piling on the disgusting, both men wanted to eat Brandes’ penis. 

Swedish death-metal band Bloodbath captures the disturbed Meiwes on “Eaten” ( Nightmares Made Flesh) ranked the 34^th best metal song of the 21^st century by Loudwire. Notably, rather than coming from the perspective of the vorarephile himself, “Eaten” comes from the perspective of the victim, Brandes.

“I’ve had one desire since I was born

To see my flesh devoured before my eyes
Only for you I volunteer as a human sacrifice.”

Wow.  If the desires weren’t captured on the verses and the pre-chorus section, Bloodbath lays it out there on the chorus.

Fittingly, the music is as dark and disturbing as the lyrics.

8. Vince Staples, “Get the Fuck Off My Dick”

“Get the Fuck Off My Dick” •   Def Jam •   2018

“Get the fuck off now, get the fuck off my dick / Hard to tell which one more perfect, man, my art or my bitch / Hard to tell which one more perfect, man, my car or my crib / Avant-garde with this shit, get your jaws off my dick.” Despite that,  “Get the Fuck Off My Dick” has an unapologetic title that seems tailor-made for a barrage of sexual wordplay, or the condom cover art, the 2018 Vince Staples single isn’t really about the “joystick” whatsoever.

Staples speaks about criticism, snubs, and essentially, a lack of respect for his art. It’s a bold, but legit message. Essentially, he uses the profane statement metaphorically as opposed to literally. Staples has ‘got bars’ throughout the course of “Get the Fuck Off My Dick,” as exemplified below:

9. Megan Thee Stallion, “Captain Hook”

“Dance on the dick, now, you been served / I like a dick with a little bit of curve / Hit this pussy with an uppercut / Call that nigga Captain Hook.” WOW! “Captain Hook” is a sexed-up, unapologetic gem from Suga, the 2020 EP by Grammy-winning rapper   Megan Thee Stallion. On “Captain Hook,” Megan Thee Stallion is bold and fierce AF.  Consider the lyrics as Exhibit A – an exemplification of naughty, X-rated-ness.

“Captain Hook” isn’t the least bit transcendent, considering Megan’s mind is on a joystick and clearly, the game she seeks filled with pleasure.  She doesn’t stop there, mind you, whether her and a “bi chick… [are] just trying shit” (experimentation) or her desire for “Mr. Clean, make that pussy beam.” “Captain Hook” is a banger, albeit it an absolutely, filthy one.

10. Christina Aguilera, “Pipe”

“Bet I’ll make you splash like Geronimo / If you don’t like it fast, I could take it slow.”  Yes, she’s totally saying what you think she’s saying… It’s truly a shame that   Christina Aguilera had a tepid run with her comeback album,   Liberation.  Overall, it’s an enjoyable, well-rounded pop album that dips into R&B and hip-hop.  One of its most ‘excited’ moments is “Pipe,” featuring XNDA. The lyrical excerpt refers to ‘pipe’ (catch my drift yet?).

In case you haven’t been awakened by the slang, “Pipe” isn’t about weed, at least in this context. No, pipe is slang for sex. The innuendo is ripe (and goes hard): “I get loud when you put that pipe down, pipe down, pipe down.” While the song thrives on sex and lacks substance beyond the “splash” Aguilera mentioned earlier, the production is great, particularly the electric piano and drum programming.

11. 3OH!3, “My Dick”

“Every time I look at my dick, I’m like ‘Holy shit, that’s a big dick’.”  If at all possible, possible the frat bros of   3OH!3 –   Sean Foreman and   Nathaniel Motte – have only grown dumber with age.  Case in point, “My Dick,” which appears on the duo’s ‘ultra-mature,’ 2016 album,  NIGHT SPORTS.  It should also be noted that in the context of NIGHT SPORTS, the sexually charged, un-poetic “Inside Boy” follows this anthem about penis.

Honestly, there are just so many questions regarding this utter display of stupidity and TMI.  First, who in the hell thought it would be ‘stimulating’ to name a song after their junk? Secondly, does this subject matter really leave the ‘fly,’ rather, the door open for depth? The dudes even compare their size to Disney characters, which is low.

12. Tyler, the Creator, “Blow My Load”

Before Tyler the Creator exhibited more maturity on masterpieces like   Flower Boy,  IGOR, and  CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, there was   Cherry Bomb (2015).  Notably, on Cherry Bomb, the unapologetic rapper tackles ejaculation, masturbation, and sex on “Blow My Load.” playlist.  What a charming title and subject matter, said NO ONE ever.

Yeah, songs about human plumbing are rarely lyrical masterpieces, let alone, safe for work. Tyler, the Creator skips the innuendo in favor of sex to the nth degree.

Wow! Despite repulsing with his ‘masturbatory’ practices – that’s a private matter Tyler – there’s lot to like that has nothing to do with sex. The production is sensual sounding, while Wanya Morris ( Boyz II Men) provides a lift with his soulful vocals and ad-libs.
