So, without further ado, letโ€™s jump right into this fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ, shall we? BURN, BABY BURN ๐Ÿ”ฅ!!!

1. Ohio Players, โ€œFireโ€ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Fire โ€ข ๐Ÿท UMG Recordings, Inc. โ€ข ๐Ÿ—“ 1974

Ohio Players, Fire [๐Ÿ“ท: UMG Recordings, Inc.]โ€œCause when youโ€™re hot, youโ€™re hot, you really shoot your shot / Youโ€™re dynamite child, yeah.โ€ Oh, snap ๐Ÿซฐ! โ€œFire ๐Ÿ”ฅ.โ€ WOO! ๐ŸŽต โ€œFireโ€ by ๐ŸŽ™ Ohio Players is a fiery ๐Ÿ”ฅ 1970s funk classic, PERIOD.ย  Notably, this gem from ๐Ÿ’ฟ Fire (1974) peaked at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.ย  The record was penned by ๐ŸŽผโœ Clarence Satchell, James Williams, Leroy โ€œSugarfootโ€ Bonner, Marshall Jones, Marvin Pierce, Ralph Middlebrooks, and William Beck. Ohio Players produced this energetic joint which speaks for itself.

While โ€œFireโ€ does speak for itself, what makes it utter fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ for Ohio Players? EVERYTHING! Leroy Sugarfoot Bonner serves up mean vocals filled with nuance and expression. He was a one-of-a-kind vocalist, something โ€œFireโ€ confirms.ย  Lyrically, the song is entertaining to the nth degree: โ€œThe way you walk and talk really sets me off / To a four-alarm ๐Ÿšจ, child, yes it does.โ€ Ooh-wee! Bonner titillates when he sings, โ€œWhen you shake what you got, and girl, youโ€™ve got a lot ๐Ÿ‘ / You really somethinโ€™, child, yes you are.โ€ย  Supporting Bonnerโ€™s lead and the ear-catching lyrics is a marvelous instrumental.ย  The groove cooks ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ without a doubt.ย  The guitar ๐ŸŽธ is rad, the bass line anchors, and the horns pack a serious bite.ย  50 years later, ๐ŸŽต โ€œFireโ€ continues to burn, burn, burn, baby!ย ย

2. Dolly Parton, โ€œWorld On Fireโ€โ€ฏโ€ฏย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Rockstar โ€ข ๐Ÿท Butterfly / Big Machine Label Group โ€ข ๐Ÿ—“ 2023โ€ฏย โ€ฏย

Dolly Parton, Rockstar [๐Ÿ“ท: Butterfly / Big Machine Label Group]According to the iconic ๐ŸŽ™ Dolly Parton ๐Ÿคฉ, we live in a ๐ŸŽต โ€œWorld On Fireโ€. In the promo single from her ROCK album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Rockstar, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee asserts in the chorus, โ€œLiar, liar, the worldโ€™s on fire / What you gonna do when it all burns down? / Fire, fire, burninโ€™ higher / Still got time to turn it all around.โ€ โ€œWorld On Fireโ€ is one of the original songs from Rockstar, which is comprised of numerous covers and collaborations with numerous big-time musicians.โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย

โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย

โ€œWorld On Fireโ€ finds Dolly Parton sounding marvelous, as always. Well into her seventies, Partonโ€™s voice sounds as distinct, effective, and fresh as ever.โ€ฏ Assertive in her performance, you buy what Dolly sells regarding the state of the world. In the first verse, Parton asserts, โ€œEverybodyโ€™s trippinโ€™ over this or that / What we gonna do when we all fall flat?โ€ She has a point โ€“ we live in divisive, polarizing times.โ€ฏ In the second verse, the man upstairs comes into the picture: โ€œWhen did we lose โ€˜In God we trust?โ€™ / God almighty, what we gonna do? / If God ainโ€™t listeninโ€™ and weโ€™re deaf too.โ€ Parton even slides in some profanity, crying foul regarding โ€œGreedy politicians, present and past / They wouldnโ€™t know the truth if it bit โ€˜em in the ass.โ€ Real talk.โ€ฏ Parton supports the assertion that the world is on fire, even if solving the problem is the taller task. Well written and well produced, this rock version of Parton, which does not alienate her country fan base, sounds good ๐Ÿค˜.โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย

3. Lil Uzi Vert, โ€œFire Alarmโ€ (Ft. Snow Strippers)ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Pink Tape โ€ข ๐Ÿท Generation Now / Atlantic โ€ข ๐Ÿ“… 2023

Lil Uzi Vert, Pink Tape [๐Ÿ“ท: Generation Now / Atlantic]โ€œAinโ€™t no bitch never heard of me / I fuck hoes off burgundy, she said, โ€˜Can I get a Birkin, please.โ€™โ€ Ooh-wee! ๐ŸŽต โ€œFire Alarmโ€ appears as the 16th track on ๐Ÿ’ฟ Pink Tape, the 2023 album by ๐Ÿ† Grammy-nominated rapper, ๐ŸŽ™ Lil Uzi Vert. Notably, Lil Uzi Vert is assisted by ๐ŸŽ™ Snow Strippers. Specifically, ๐ŸŽ™ Tatiana Schwaninger provides vocals in the intro (โ€œI canโ€™t be myself, see myself, slice myself / I canโ€™t sell my soul, clean my soul, slice my soulโ€) and the interlude, while ๐ŸŽ› Graham Perez produces alongside Don Cannon.ย  The production is ear-catching, featuring two samples: ๐ŸŽต โ€œStressโ€ by ๐ŸŽ™ Justice and ๐ŸŽต โ€œSirenโ€ from ๐ŸŽฆ Silent Hill. The backdrop is fuel โ›ฝ๏ธ for Uzi Vertโ€™s fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ which is unapologetic AF. The substance is lacking for the rapper, well, unless you consider the likes of โ€œTakinโ€™ these pills, and these pills got me outer spaceโ€ being deep. There are multiple references to drip, and he freely uses the word bitch, sigh. โ€œI know some bitches addicted to soda,โ€ he asserts in the second verse, later, mentioning bitches again sexually: โ€œShe gave me head like that bitch got diploma.โ€ โ€œFire Alarmโ€ is what it is โ€“ a three-minute banger that goes hella dumb.

4. Rick James, โ€œFire and Desireโ€ (Ft. Teena Marie)ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Street Songs โ€ข ๐Ÿท UMG Recordings, Inc. โ€ข ๐Ÿ—“ 1981โ€ฏย

Rick James, Street Songs [๐Ÿ“ท: UMG Recordings, Inc.]โ€œIโ€™ve got a new lady now / And itโ€™s a little different than when I was with you,โ€ the late, great R&B singer/songwriter, ๐ŸŽ™ Rick James (1948 โ€“ 2004) asserts in the intro of ๐ŸŽต โ€œFire And Desireโ€. โ€œFire And Desireโ€ appears on Jamesโ€™ platinum certified, 1981 album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Street Songs. He expounds on the seven-minute-plus, sixth track, โ€œI think of how you changed me with your love and your sensitivity.โ€โ€ฏ Although James is with someone new, he touts how much his ex-girlfriend changed him โ€“ taught him how to love.โ€ฏ In the first verse, he sings about how bad he treated his girlfriends: โ€œI was cold as ice long ago, baby, baby / I wasnโ€™t very, very, very nice, you know / Sugar, sugar, sugar / Then I kissed your lips.โ€ Notably,โ€ฏ the centerpiece of โ€œFire And Desireโ€ is the chorus, which finds James showing gratitude to his ex for teaching him how to love and be a better man:โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย โ€ฏย

โ€œAnd you turned on my fire, babyโ€ฏย

And you burn me up within your flameโ€ฏย

Took me a little higherโ€ฏย

Made me live againโ€ฏย

You turned on my fire, babyโ€ฏย

Then you showed me what a love could doโ€ฏย

Fire and desire, babyโ€ฏย

Feel it coming throughโ€ฏย

And I thank you baby.โ€โ€ฏย

Rick James sounds fantastic, showing off his robust, soulful instrument.โ€ฏ As electrifying as he is himself,โ€ฏpenning, producing, and singing this epic ballad, he is joined by another late legendary R&B artist, ๐ŸŽ™ Teena Marie (1956 โ€“ 2010). Notably, Marie and James dated briefly. Clearly, the chemistry is awesome between the two, specifically in the collaborative chorus and outro.โ€ฏ Marie doesnโ€™t enter until well into the song (second verse), flaunting an exquisite tone and an awe-inspiring range.โ€ฏ When Teena sings, it sounds effortless and utterly celestial.โ€ฏ Like Rick, she attests to how he made her love better.โ€ฏ Beyond the thoughtful, love-oriented songwriting, the sound of ๐ŸŽต โ€œFire And Desireโ€ is gorgeous including the rhythm section, strings ๐ŸŽป, and vibraphone.โ€ฏ Honestly, this 80s gem ๐Ÿ’Ž deserved much more attention on the charts.โ€ฏโ€ฏย

5. Colm R. McGuinness, โ€œHellfireโ€ ย

๐ŸŽต โ€œHellfireโ€ โ€ข ๐Ÿท Colm R. McGuinness โ€ข ๐Ÿ—“ 2023

Colm R. McGuinness, Hellfire [๐Ÿ“ท: Colm R. McGuinness]Ah! It is always exciting to hear various musicians cover some of the greatest songs from Disney animated films.โ€ฏ The song from ๐ŸŽฆโ€ฏThe Hunchback of Notre Dame that draws the most attention is the dark, hellish, ๐ŸŽต โ€œHellfireโ€, which in the 1996 animated film, is paired with โ€œHeavenโ€™s Light.โ€ While the โ€œHeavenโ€™s Lightโ€ finds Quasimodo bringing optimism, itโ€™s Judge Claude Frolloโ€™s lustful โ€œHellfireโ€ that makes us question how The Hunchback of Notre Dame ended up being a G-rated childrenโ€™s movie.โ€ฏ Anyways, talented Irish singer/composer ๐ŸŽ™ Colm McGuinness (COLM is pronounced COLUMN) delivers an alluring take on one of Disneyโ€™s darkest music classics.โ€ฏ

ย

McGuinnessโ€™ ๐ŸŽต โ€œHellfireโ€ fittingly begins with the haunting Latin text featured in the original. It retains the theatrical flair, but also has a hint of the spirit of rock ๐Ÿค˜.โ€ฏ Colmโ€™s tone is otherworldly โ€“ quite distinct.โ€ฏ He truly catches the ear ๐Ÿ‘‚ early on, channeling his best Judge Claude Frollo with his deep, passionate, and robust instrument. Colm sings with incredible expression, grit, and power ๐Ÿ’ช. This is one instance where masculinity, via his sound, is #WINNING.โ€ฏ Watching the music video of the cover, you canโ€™t take your eyes off of Colm, who puts his all into these damning lyrics โ€“ he truly sells it like champ. The dramatic instrumental only fuels โ›ฝ๏ธ the fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ, making us Disney kids reminisce back in fondness to one of the best villainous songs of all time.โ€ฏโ€ฏย

6. The Pointer Sisters, โ€œFireโ€ ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Energy โ€ข ๐Ÿท Sony Music Entertainment โ€ข ๐Ÿ“… 1978ย

The Pointer Sisters, Energy [๐Ÿ“ท: Sony Music Entertainment]โ€œMy words say split ๐Ÿ’” / But my words they lie ๐Ÿคฅ / โ€˜Cause when we kiss ๐Ÿ˜˜, ooh, fire.โ€ Fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ, indeed, ๐ŸŽ™ The Pointer Sisters! ๐ŸŽต โ€œFireโ€ marks one of the biggest hits by the iconic, ๐Ÿ† Grammy-winning,ย sister group comprised of ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Anita Pointer (1948 โ€“ 2022), June Pointer (1953 โ€“ 2006), and Ruth Pointer (1946 โ€“ ). Anita sings led on this gem, which performed superbly on the pop charts, peaking at no. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979 (it debuted in 1978).ย  It should be noted that โ€œFireโ€ is NOT an original ๐Ÿคฏ. The Pointer Sisters made a ๐ŸŽผ โœ Bruce Springsteen song, originally intended for ๐ŸŽ™ Elvis Presley, and recorded by ๐ŸŽ™ Robert Gordon and Springsteen himself, a gargantuan hit. In addition to its chart accolades, โ€œFireโ€ was certified gold by the RIAA. Likewise, the parent album, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Energy, was also certified gold.ย

The premise of โ€œFireโ€ is matters of the heart โ€“ L-O-V-E โค๏ธ. Essentially, Anita Pointer is giving mixed signals. She doesnโ€™t like him, but she does, as the excerpted lyrics suggest. Prior to those fiery lines, in the first verse, Anita sings, โ€œYouโ€™re pullinโ€™ me close / I just say no / I say I donโ€™t like it / But you know Iโ€™m a liar.โ€ Oh, Pinocchio ๐Ÿคฅ! Similarly, in the second verse, she asserts, โ€œI say I wanna be alone / I say I donโ€™t love you / But you know Iโ€™m a liar.โ€ย  The lyrics are self-explanatory โ€“ easy to follow and ultimately, enjoyable.ย  Furthermore, the vocals by Anita as well as her sisters are strong โ€“ harmonious.ย  Furthermore, the backdrop is distinct.ย  This is technically an R&B, record, but, the backdrop also has pop/rock influence, which makes it stand out.ย  The guitar ๐ŸŽธ, organ, and tambourine are some of the most delicious instruments appearing on the track ๐Ÿคค. The Pointer Sistersโ€™ ๐ŸŽต โ€œFireโ€ is DEFINITELY fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

7. Jerry Lee Lewis, โ€œGreat Balls of Fireโ€ ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ The Essential Jerry Lee Lewis: The Sun Sessions โ€ข ๐Ÿท Sun Entertainment Corporation โ€ข ๐Ÿ—“ 2013

Jerry Lee Lewis, The Essential Jerry Lee Lewis: The Sun Sessions [๐Ÿ“ท: Sun Entertainment Corporation]โ€œKiss me, baby / Mmm, it feels good / Hold me, baby / Well, Iโ€™m off to love you like a lover should.โ€ So, ๐ŸŽ™ Jerry Lee Lewis, tell us, how exactly should a lover love ๐Ÿค”?ย  Judging by the 1950s classic, ๐ŸŽต โ€œGreat Balls of Fireโ€, incredibly passionately. By 21st century standards, โ€œGreat Balls of Fireโ€ is incredibly tame.ย  Yes, the innuendo is ripe โ€“ โ€œIโ€™m real nervous, but it sure is fun / Come on, baby / You drive me crazyโ€ โ€“ but itโ€™s not as if Lewis explicitly mentions S-E-X.ย  Still, for the conservative 1950s, โ€œGreat Balls of Fireโ€ raised eyebrows, yet peaked at no. 2 (predating the Billboard Hot 100) in the US and no. 1 in the UK ๐Ÿ’ช.ย

Perhaps what is more controversial than this risquรฉ song is Jerry Lee Lewis himself.ย  Sure, the fact that Lewis asserts โ€œI chew my nails and I twiddle my thumbsโ€ in either anticipation for sex or just being hot and bothered was progressive for the time, more disturbing are the many controversies the late icon was part of.ย  The controversy that coincides with the popularity of โ€œGreat Balls of Fire,โ€ specifically in the UK, is the revelation that Lewis, at the time 22, married his second cousin, who was 13… YIKES! This of course led to Lewisโ€™ promising career going down the tube.ย  Furthermore, for some folks, it might change your perception of the hot and bothered ๐ŸŽต โ€œGreat Balls of Fireโ€.ย  Lewis clearly had his fair share of issues โ€“ an understatement โ€“ but hard to deny this song right here is a surefire, rock and roll classic.ย ย ย

8. Alicia Keys, โ€œGirl on Fireโ€ ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Girl on Fire โ€ข ๐Ÿท RCA โ€ข ๐Ÿ“… 2012ย

Alicia Keys, Girl On Fire [๐Ÿ“ท: RCA]โ€œSheโ€™s just a girl and sheโ€™s on fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ,โ€ ๐Ÿ† Grammy winning R&B singer/songwriter ๐ŸŽ™ Alicia Keys asserts on ๐ŸŽต โ€œGirl On Fireโ€. โ€œGirl On Fireโ€ marks the crowning achievement from her 2012 LP, ๐Ÿ’ฟ Girl on Fire. Even though the girl which Keys sings about has the adversity of a crazy world against her, โ€œShe knows she can fly away.โ€ Why? Well, because โ€œSheโ€™s not backinโ€™ downโ€ and, of course, โ€œThis girl is on fire!โ€ โ€œGirl On Fireโ€ just missed the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at no. 11. It is worth noting, on the Inferno version, ๐ŸŽ™ Nicki Minaj assists, performing the first and fourth verses (โ€œDear God, if youโ€™re here God / Make the fire disappear when they stare Godโ€).โ€ฏ

Regardless of the mix, Nicki or no Nicki, Alicia Keys is the star of the show.โ€ฏ She sings well, painting a beautiful portrait of a strong, determined woman ๐Ÿ’ช.โ€ฏ The bridge marks a truly fabulous moment, where Keys makes it clear that this girl doesnโ€™t show her flaws or insecurities in the least.โ€ฏโ€ฏย โ€ฏย

โ€œEverybody stands, as she goes byโ€ฏย

โ€˜Cause they can see the flame thatโ€™s in her eyesโ€ฏย

Watch her when sheโ€™s lighting up the nightโ€ฏโ€ฏย

Nobody knows that sheโ€™s a lonely girlโ€ฏย

And itโ€™s a lonely worldโ€ฏย

But she gonโ€™ let it burn, baby, burn, baby.โ€โ€ฏโ€ฏย

๐ŸŽต โ€œGirl On Fireโ€ speaks to women โ€“ empowerment, baby โ€“ but it should also be admired by men, too.โ€ฏ A strong woman deserves the admiration and respect of all ๐Ÿ’ช!โ€ฏ

9. Black Pumas, โ€œFireโ€ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Black Pumas โ€ข ๐Ÿท ATO โ€ข ๐Ÿ“… 2019

Black Pumas, Black Pumas (Deluxe)[๐Ÿ“ท: ATO]โ€œGot a lover on my mind / That keeps me wanting, steady wanting more.โ€ Ooh wee, thatโ€™s nothing short of โ€“ wait for it โ€“ FIRE ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ! ๐ŸŽต โ€œFireโ€ appears as the fourth track on ๐Ÿ’ฟ Black Pumas, the 2019, debut album by ๐Ÿ† Grammy-nominated duo, ๐ŸŽ™ Black Pumas. ๐ŸŽ™ Eric Burton and ๐ŸŽ™ Adrian Quesada put their foot into this soulful gem.ย  Burton blesses us with utterly sublime vocals, while Quesada puts in work on the guitar ๐ŸŽธ and behind the boards ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ ๐Ÿ’ช.

With the fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ implied on โ€œFire,โ€ when does Eric Burton explicitly sing about it? That would be in the chorus. โ€œThereโ€™s a fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ, call the fireman ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’ / If youโ€™re in pain, baby, call a doctor,โ€ he sings, continuing, โ€œDonโ€™t be afraid to say, โ€˜I need youโ€™ / I will understand.โ€ Hmm, clearly, this is a different kind of fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ! In the third verse, Burton confesses, โ€œOh, I long for your lovinโ€™, I canโ€™t get enough / When you tell me I can be there when you love again.โ€ WORD! All told, this four-minute plus joint rocks ๐Ÿค˜!

10. Katy Perry, โ€œFireworkโ€โ€ฏย

๐Ÿ’ฟ Teenage Dream โ€ข ๐Ÿท Capitol โ€ข ๐Ÿ“… 2010

Katy Perry, Teenage Dream [๐Ÿ“ท: Capitol]Baby, do you know what you are? โ€œYouโ€™re a firework ๐ŸŽ†!โ€ WOO! Itโ€™s hard to believe that the ๐ŸŽ™ Katy Perry classic, ๐ŸŽต โ€œFireworkโ€, arrived way back in 2010! Perry experienced the biggest success of her career, as her ๐Ÿ’ฟ Teenage Dream album was chocked-full of hits. โ€œFireworkโ€ spent four weeks at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, tallying 39 weeks total on the charts.โ€ฏ The song features marvelous production (๐ŸŽ› Sandy Vee and StarGate), tuneful melody, a strong vocal from Perry, and most of all, inspiring, memorable, and uplifting songwriting (Perry and ๐ŸŽผ โœ Ester Dean join the production team as writers).โ€ฏโ€ฏย

The inspirational, uplifting nature of โ€œFireworkโ€ is what has always stood out to me personally.โ€ฏ In the first verse, Perry paints a picture of feeling worthless, and going through ample adversity. โ€œDo you ever feel already buried deep?โ€ she sings, adding, โ€œSix feet under screams, but no one seems to hear a thing.โ€โ€ฏ Following these negative feelings and vibes, Perry shifts all things inspiring.โ€ฏ In the pre-chorus, she tells the hopeless, โ€œYou just gotta ignite the light / And let it shine / Just own the night / Like the Fourth of July.โ€ Why? โ€œโ€˜Cause baby, youโ€™re a firework / Come on show โ€˜em what youโ€™re worth / Make โ€˜em go, โ€˜Awe, aw, aweโ€™ / As you shoot across the sky-y-y!โ€ WOO! The second verse, following the epic chorus, embraces this newfound hope and fearlessness, contrasting with the mopey first verse.โ€ฏ Katy encourages us to open a new door! Even though the chorus is the sugar honey iced tea on this bombastic encouraging pop joint, the bridge must be mentioned in all their brightness! โ€œBoom, boom, boom / Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon / Itโ€™s always been inside of you, you, youโ€ฆโ€ Just remember, whether itโ€™s The fourth of July or nah, YOU own every night, darlings!โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย

11. Johnny Cash, โ€œRing of Fireโ€ ย

๐Ÿ’ฟ The Essential Johnny Cash โ€ข ๐Ÿท Sony Music Entertainment โ€ข ๐Ÿ—“ 2002โ€ฏโ€ฏย

Johnny Cash, The Essential Johnny Cash [๐Ÿ“ท: Sony Music Entertainment]โ€œLove is a burning thing / And it makes a fiery ring.โ€ Indeed, ๐ŸŽ™ Johnny Cash (1932 โ€“ 2003), indeed.โ€ฏ โ€œBound by wild desire / I fell into a ring of fire.โ€ Dang! ๐ŸŽต โ€œRing of Fireโ€ is one of the most iconic country songs of all-time, PERIOD.โ€ฏ In the hands of Mr. Cash, โ€œRing of Fireโ€ peaked at no. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963, one of two top-20 hits by the iconic country musician. The country standard was penned by Cashโ€™s eventual second wife, ๐ŸŽผ โœ June Carter Cash and Merle Kilgore. Carter Cash didnโ€™t write it for Cash, but rather her sister, Anita Carter, per Alex Baker of Fender. Unsurprisingly, early in ๐Ÿ† Grammy history, at the 6th Annual Grammy Awards, Cash earned his first Grammy nomination for Best Country & Western Recording.โ€ฏย

So, what makes โ€œRing of Fireโ€ the sugar honey iced tea? The theme and songwriting go a long way, particularly the catchy chorus.โ€ฏ Sing along if you know it!โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย

โ€œI fell into a burning ring of fireโ€ฏย

I went down, down, downโ€ฏโ€ฏย

And the flames went higherโ€ฏย

And it burns, burns, burns,โ€ฏโ€ฏย

The ring of fireโ€ฏย

The ring of fire.โ€โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย

Of course, those expressive, nuanced vocals of Johnny Cash are the biggest attraction ๐Ÿ’ช. That baritone is nothing short of amazing.โ€ฏ Also, throw in the mariachi horns ๐ŸŽบโ€ฏ and the backdrop is distinct and sweet.โ€ฏ The groove is infectious, reminding us just how fabulous the country/western music of the past is.โ€ฏ Still, the focal point is the icon himself, Johnny Cash, who made ๐ŸŽต โ€œRing of Fireโ€ a gargantuan hit. The greatness of the song speaks for itself.โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏย
