Zerb & Wiz Khalifa, Location | Song Review 🎵

Brazilian DJ/producer Zerb, assisted by Ty Dolla $ign, and Wiz Khalifa, warm up those frigid January 2025 temps with the piping hot dance cut, “Location.”

“Send me your location, send me your location / I need to know, I need to know your location.” The desire and yearning are real! Location, location, LOCATION! “Location” is a groovy collaboration between Brazilian DJ/producer Zerb, Ty Dolla $ign, and Wiz Khalifa.  The two-and-a-half-minute track fuses African, Afro House, dance, hip-hop, and pop.  All three artists co-wrote “Location,” while Zerb exclusively produced it.  The results are enjoyable, entertaining, and infectious.

Ty Dolla $ign does the heavy lifting early on.  He sets the tone in the first verse, playing it off with a cool, sexy vibe.  “Nikki Beach, we in the water,” he sings, continuing, “Fría, fría, make her hotter.” He parties it up in the pre-chorus, asking an important question: “Which girls I’m takin’ home, ooh yeah.” This is why he needs to know her location, stat! Wiz Khalifa brings the rhymes in the second verse, continuing the drunken nature of the record.  “More drinks, more sips / More time gettin’ spent on drunk texts / More things that I gotta confess,” he spits, adding, “Let’s be honest for once and own it / Lose ourselves and live in the moment.” Word.  Not only do Ty and Wiz have fun, but so does the listener! The tropical vibes are vibing hard, and Zerb ‘puts in serious work’ behind the boards.  He gives Ty and Wiz a sick backdrop to electrify with their shallowly irresistible lines.  What better way to warm up frigid January 2025 than the piping hot “Location”?! I’ll have a heaping dose of what Zerb, Ty Dolla $ign, and Wiz Khalifa are having!
