“This shit is a knocker, a bopper, a knocker, like choppers / The boppers, they love me, they show up, give topper.”  WOO! West Coast rapper YG drops a banger with “KNOCKA”, period.  Dropping a compelling cadence and flow, he’s on autopilot from start to finish. “KNOCKA” was produced by Larry Jayy, DJ Vision, and Kay Kay. Notably, it samples an unlikely song: “Cuando Maldecimos Tener” by Daniel Magal.  The ‘multiple elements’ sampled work effectively on “KNOCKA,” fueling YG’s fire.

YG, KNOCKA [📷: 4Hunnid Music Inc. / BMG Rights Management (US) LLC]YG first catches the ear on this two-and-a-half-minute banger with the chorus.  It is infectious to the nth degree.  Then, he drops a fierce verse.  No, the lyrics aren’t deep, particularly the likes of “Suckin’ them titties like a baby, give me baba,” but he’s confident AF.  “My new bitch give me throat, I call her Lady Gaga,” he brags, later adding, “Slut her out proper like NLE Choppa.” The second verse, well, it’s much like the first.  “Ayy, when you tie me, do it sloppy when I’m tied up / If you a loyal bitch, I get you gifts, yeah, I got you.” So, he wants the nasty and he’ll reward her by spoiling her if she’s loyal.  Keeping it nasty, YG informs us how good sex feels like: “Good pussy, when you inside, it feel like lava.” My God today! “KNOCKA” won’t change your life – it’s not transcendent – but, it is an entertaining, unapologetic rap banger.
