Yavin, Now + Then. [📷: Yavin]Pop singer/songwriter Yavin drops a slickly produced, thoughtfully penned, and relatable single with “Now & Then.”

Seven words: “I think about you now and then.” Facts, 🎙 Yavin (Manny Camargo), facts.  Is it difficult to put yourself in those shoes regarding a former flame (“A cameo inside my head”)? Didn’t think so! The pop singer/songwriter is back with an enjoyable, relatable bop in 🎵 “Now & Then.”.  Slickly produced, the ear candy is decadent. Vocally, the queer musician sounds incredibly alluring and sweet, flaunting his beautiful tone.  Even though on the audience’s end of things, “Now & Then.” is marvelous, it’s painful for the heartbroken protagonist.  Truly, a summer bummer, Lana! To his credit, Yavin sings, “But don’t think that I’m missing you,” though could it be more of a façade than denouncing feelings?

[📷: Yavin]Anyways, Yavin breaks down these thoughts, as well as this now defunct relationship.  Notably, early on, he speaks of the brevity of the relationship, and the fact they haven’t spoken, yet, he finds himself with this boy on his mind.  “You don’t know the pain that you put me through / When there was no longer me and you,” he sings honestly, adding, “Guess you didn’t give enough for me to hold onto…” My, my, my! well doneYavin goes onto tell this ex who is haunting his mind, “You got me on an annoying trip / I’m sick of all this…” So, is there resolution on 🎵 “Now & Then.”? As stated earlier, Yavin emphasizes the fact that he doesn’t miss him, repeating it again at the end of the record.  Is it totally true and believable? You be the judge.  Where the verdict is clear cut is the fact that Yavin nails it on this surefire bop!
