OLFBERRY is sending a wave across pop with her smash hit ‘Let’s Make Fire‘.

Originally from Russia, WOLFBERRY shines like a beaming star on this fresh release. Furthermore, she carries a sound which we do not hear all too often, except for in films like James Bond. I am unsure if this intentional but my guess would indicate it is a close link—especially given that the single cover also resembles something which would come out of the Bond franchise.

Nevertheless, although it has close comparisons to the most incredible soundtracks, it also a unique selling proposition of its own. Furthermore, WOLFBERRY has a mesmerising tone. She sings with a clear as a day technique, and she leaves no room for any dissonance with her vocal register flourishing from the moment she opens her cords.

Musically, ‘Let’s Make Fire‘ is intense. So much so, it has an omnipotent foundation which unleashes heaps of energy and power. As a result, if music could generate electricity, this would be the first track on the hit list. It reflects passion also, which I savour. Also, the structure regularly changes with it picking us up at times before taking us back down to earth with serene quality.

Overall, ‘Let’s Make Fire‘ can do no wrong. It is catchy and memorable, and WOLFBERRY proves that she can be hugely versatile as a musician. However, I am intrigued to hear what else she has up her sleeve. Will she carry on with the James Bond theme or will she delve into a new space? Only time will tell, but the future is looking very bright indeed.
