WNT-AL-N, Leave It on the Floor © WNTALN EnterprisesWorld pop artist and producer WNT-AL-N offers a pretty good resolution to the grind of work and life through catchy, infectious, eclectic single, “Leave It on the Floor.”

WNT-AL-N– what a name right? Some may catch what the world pop artist and producer’s name is from first glance of the stylization, while other may need it literally written out: Went All In. With “Leave it On the Floor,” there is no doubt where the artist’s mind is at – the dance floor. “Leave it On the Floor” exemplifies his musical eclecticism, fusing Caribbean, pop, funk, reggae, hip-hop and jazz.  The results, ladies and gentleman, are marvelous.

Early on, “Leave It on the Floor” establishes its infectious identity, embodying the aforementioned eclecticism regarding sound. The production is chocked full of colorful elements, better yet instruments including guitar, synthesizer, and of course drum programming. While “Leave It on the Floor” is set in a minor key, it’s incredibly bubbly and exuberant.  Perhaps the minor key is meant to capture some of the hardships of life that WNT-AL-N references on the verse.  Regardless, he has the resolution for all those problem – the dance floor!  Some other things worth nothing, “Leave It on the Floor” makes excellent use of shout-outs, ad-libs, and sound/vocal effects, keeping things hella fresh.

Final Thoughts

Does WNT-AL-N oversimplify the hardships of life with his catchy, eclectic dance anthem? Perhaps it’s too simple to call “Leave It on the Floor” a prescription to heal all ails of ‘this thing called life,’ but man oh man, does WNT-AL-N do a great job trying!  This is a blast to listen to, benefitting from stellar production and energetic vocals.
