Von Venn, Hero | Track Review

ndie band Von Venn have a creative spark that is noticeably distinct from that of other musicians working in the same field. They are not light years away from other sounds in this genre, but they have a style which is unique to them, and that is what draws us back each time they offer a new track.

The latest song by this band is called “Hero,” and it seems to be about the search for a saviour. At least, that is what we get from listening to the words that frontman Gary Cox sings and delivers in the song. Is there a rule book that could save the day? During his powerful and emotionally charged delivery, Gary is thinking about this question.

The music exude an air of laid-back relaxation while simultaneously putting an emphasis on a catchy groove. It also has a nostalgic feel, and when we listen to it, we are transported to the time when indie music was all the rage! Also, there are a lot of hidden surprises that are revealed as the track proceeds, and you’ll definitely want to listen to it again once it’s over!

The band’s new album is titled Jeanie Is Out, and the song titled “Hero” can be found on that album. This song is just one of many on that record that stands out!
