anish rock duo Vinyl Floor bring old-school vibes with the release of, ‘Funhouse Mirror‘. The new single from the band is from their latest album, which carries the same title.‘Funhouse Mirror‘ is reminiscent of the warm rock sound of the 1970s, and the brothers’ influences become more and more visible as the song progresses through its delivery. The song begins with a piano hook that seizes our attention with vigour, and then we fasten our seat belts for an exciting ride that takes us through a variety of musical styles from a number of different decades.
Even if there are a lot of parallels to songs that have been popular in the past, the band is still relevant to the world that they are living in right now, and they are able to breathe new life into the production. Additionally, the vocals and lyrics maintain the track in 2022 with thought-provoking narratives and melodies. However, the lyrics are not simple to comprehend at first, and it takes careful inspection to work out what is going on truly.
After the second chorus, there is a guitar solo that erupts from the mix, and it demonstrates that the pair are not only influential songwriters and vocalists but also highly-skilled guitar players. Moreover, the guitar solo exudes top-tier energy, and the way in which they perform puts them on par with some of the best musicians currently active in the scene as of right now.
Overall, a terrific release from Vinyl Floor. Also, it is just one of many gems from their album, which is out now!
