ip hop arrives most potent when it is true, and Untold Poet knows this too well with his latest release, ‘Don’t Understand‘ which is surrounded by virtue.

Based in Essex in the UK, Untold Poet has been observing the world around him for some time, and he feels it is only right to tell the world how he truly feels, good on him! His rap performance is ambitious, and he is instrumental in his feelings. He speaks about modern times, and he is unsure why hate still exists in a world where we should be looking out for one another.

Musically, ‘Don’t Understand‘ invigorates with a fresh take on modern hip hop. Additionally, it brings a soothing aura with its chill and relaxed soundscape, hypnotising the listener as it progresses. The beat brings a ‘tap your feet’ rhythm, and it delves into a Spanish space with it not sounding too dissimilar to some of the Latin tracks gracing the airwaves. He pulls it off, and he makes a few tweaks to match his mood accurately.

The words are the main talking point in this track, and they showcase Untold Poet’s lyrical prowess. He conveys a message of making a change, and he ventures deep into modern society, and he is fearless with his vision of making the world a better place.

Overall, ‘Don’t Understand‘ is a step forward for Untold Poet. He ditches the contemporary stories which so many rap artists follow, and he pushes into a topic which needs more of a mention. He is memorable with his expression too, and he leaves a long-lasting indent with meaningful rap.
