Aww, shee-it! Prepare to be shooketh! Spicy Tunez is a column filled with naughty, sometimes controversial, and NSFW songs 👀.  Some songs merely dabble in innuendo and suggestiveness.  Others, however, go whole-hog and embrace a give-no-fucks aesthetic, thrive on sexual endeavors, utter shock value, and sometimes find themselves firmly embroiled in censorship… DUN, DUN, DUN! Spicy Tunez consolidates those Controversial Songs and that piping hot, sensually charged Midnight Heat. In the third edition of Spicy Tunez (2026), we explore the eyebrow-raising, naughty, sexed-up vibes behindMoanby Trooh Hippi.

“I know that I said before, I only want this and nothing more / But you’re the type of girl that makes me feel things that I can’t ignore.”
Ooh-wee, Trooh Hippi (Rajon Ahmed).  Honesty is the best policy! The London musician continues to be honest on his 2025 single “Moan” when he sings, “Feel bad that I made you cry, I’d rather make you moan.” Well, we knew the reference to moaning, or moaning itself, was inevitable.

Trooh Hippi keeps it short but sweet on “Moan”; it runs just over two minutes. The sound of the record is a selling point.  There is a sweet, alternative, indie-rock vibe.  The sounds that catch the ears include an infectious groove, strong bass line, distorted guitars, and colorful keys.  As Hippi sings, he charms with his British accent.  The melodies he brings to life are both rhythmic and tuneful.  The lyrics are quite memorable, too. Going back to my sweet comment, Trooh is ‘not that innocent.’ He’s horny! “I’ll be honest, if you are with me / I don’t know if this is love,” he sings, and adds, “But I do know this is fun.” My, my, my! He admits, “I second-guess / When I’m in between your thighs / When I see you laugh and smile / … Wanna hear about your day / Wanna tell you all about mine / Not official yet, but I think it’s about time.” So, there is potential for more than hooking up! All in all, to reiterate, “Moan” is short but sweet. This is a fun, spicy, but not-too-spicy bop from Trooh Hippi.  Worth adding to the playlist? You bet!
