JoJo returns with the third single from forthcoming LP, Mad Love. โFAB.โ Is jam-packed with attitude, but falls short of previous single, โMad Love.โ
Preparing for her comeback album, Mad Love., JoJo releases a third single, โFAB.โ On โFAB.,โ the urban-pop singer is assisted by rapper Remy Ma.ย The results are respectable, but not earth-shattering. ย What does โFAB.โ Stand for? Fake ass b*tchesโฆ

Expectedly, โFAB.โ features slick production in the urban-pop vein.ย Production is a strong suit, but the theme is predictable. JoJo simply doesnโt like fake people โ a reasonable opinion.ย The problem is, the viewpoint isnโt innovative.ย The chorus is sound, however, featuring some clever, biting lyrics:
โFake ass b*tches / when they smile in your face, but behind you, it ainโt well wishes / when they eatinโ all the food off your plate and they donโt do dishes / when they words and they actions blur and they donโt know different / no time for theย fake ass b*tches.โ
Remy Ma guests on the third verse. Much like JoJo, the effect is predictable:
โI got both middle fingers all the way up / and for fraud broads, I donโt give two f*cks.โ
Final Thoughtsย
All in all, โFAB.โ is brutally honest and slick, but doesnโt necessarily propel JoJo next level. Profane and unapologetic seems to be JoJoโs M.O., but the ability to incorporate every curse word into an album doesnโt necessarily build success.ย โMad Love.โ was a better moment for her, showcasing the power of her voice sans the overabundance of expletives.
